  • "We absolutely loved our stay in Oakdene."

The property was spacious & comfortable and had everything we needed. I visited with my friend so it was lovely to have a king size room and barhroom each. The only thing that let the property down was the mattress topper in the downstairs King room which must have been missed from the clean as it had a large stain which was clearly visible through the base sheet. Also the downstairs shower area could do with some TLC. Other than that, it was spotless and had everything we needed. We would definitely return to this property.

Thank you Martha for taking the time to leave feedback. So sorry about the mattress topper, yes it was stained. This has been removed and a replacement fitted. Both bathrooms have had the TLC you suggested, throughout. So glad you had a lovely time, and really hope you visit again soon. Property Owner

Well equipped kitchen and all the facilities we could wish for including TVs and games. It’s a short walk to Ferry Boat pub which does lovely food, and shops etc are nearby. Manor Wildlife Park near Tenby is highly recommended.

Hi Chris. So glad you enjoyed your stay. The Ferry is always very welcoming for an evening meal, or just a cold drink after a walk on the coastal path that runs alongside. We love Manor Park too! Property Owner

It was cosy, we’ll equipped and spacious. The shower was great and the views, pretty stunning. The property had been well maintained and had everything we needed. We’ll, apart from the weather, but you can’t have everything! There were good communications from the owner before we arrived so nothing to complain about really.

Everything in the upstairs bathroom was running with condensation after you had a shower, even the hairspray bottle had to be wiped to get rid of the condensation. Think there must be something happening with damp as one of our party said their bed felt damp. We bought a small heater to put in the downstairs bathroom to try to get rid of the damp smell. If you left the towels in the bathroom they always felt damp, couldn’t dry yourself properly with the towels after having showers. I don’t know if it is because they use fabric conditioner on the towels. The house was very clean and tidy, had everything you needed really and was well situated. Could do with a parasol on the balcony.

Also, the owner kindly left us welcome chocs and wine which went down a treat. The pub was a stone's throw from the house and very welcoming with lovely food and a brilliant view, and the local walks were breathtaking. Our only very slight niggle was that there seemed to be a small leak coming from somewhere in the upper bathroom as the floor seemed to get damp - but as I said, not really a big downside and, as we left a note regarding this for the owner, I'm sure this will be sorted for the next arrivals.
