  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Y-Bwthyn."

We were made feel very welcome by Erica the owner. She checked all was ok for us throughout the week. If you want an away from it all break this is the place to visit.

  • "We had a wonderful week at Y Bwthyn."

The cottage has everything you need. We loved the secluded location and we were able to have the relaxing week we needed. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! The location in Pembrokeshire was great. Although situated in a small village it is close to tourist attractions and we had some lovely trips out with only about a 30 minute drive. Erica and Nige, the cottage owners were lovely and went out of their way for us. It was everything we wanted and we will definitely go back.

  • "As a family of four, we had a lovely break."

The location is great for access to bays on the west coast near Newport. Narberth is excellent for cod and near Tenby, great for kids’ activities. We rented the hot tub which was great fun. The cottage has everything you need and was really peaceful and the owners were really attentive. A great place and super memories.

  • "Lovely cottage sympathetically restored."

Plenty of room. In an idyllic location just beautiful. Owners and family are super, very friendly but not intrusive. The various animals and wildlife provide great watching. The acess to the hot tub is stoney and outdoor eating nearer to the cottage would be beneficial. Thank you for a restful week.

  • "Just back from a lovely stay here."

Was a fab base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast, we love the area and visit every year. Everything you needed in cottage and really cosy, added bonus of washing machine, which with kids was really useful. Lovely and warm. Kids loved the swings. Nigel and Erica were brilliant hosts, very approachable and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the summer next time to appreciate it even more.

  • "The owners were really friendly and helpful."

We loved the big kitchen which was big enough for all of us to sit up the table together. The house was so warm we didn’t need any heating on, even though the weather was pretty miserable all week. The cottage was close to lots of family activities and not too far from the coast. Unfortunately the wet room was not suitable for a wheelchair user as there are no grab handles. The fridge was too small for a family of 8 and the white goods needed repairing. Apart from those issues we had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub in the garden.

The cottage is situated perfectly for accessing all local attractions. Nigel was very welcoming and helpful and always on hand if you have any questions.

  • "We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Y Bwythyn and it was just what we needed after a very busy few weeks of work/school/life."

The owners Erica and Nigel were really friendly and helpful and our girls loved playing with their two lovely children who gave them a real flavour of farm life (my eldest daughter now wants to be a farm vet!). The cottage is an excellent base from which to explore the local area and we had a great time visiting lots of beaches which were just simply stunning. A particular highlight was Barafundle Bay which was one of the most glorious stretches of coastline we have ever seen (and we have visited a lot of beaches!). We would definitely love to return to the cottage again next year!
