  • “What a lovely Holiday home. This ...”

What a lovely Holiday home. This fabulous property although marketed as a 'Cottage' was in fact huge. This property will take 4 people as advertised with room to spare. What a lovely Holiday home. This fabulous property although marketed as a 'Cottage' was in fact huge. This property will take 4 people as advertised with room to spare. All rooms were tastefully decorated with full sized furniture which gives it the 'home from home' feel and not just furnished with cheap items that people put in nowadays. The beds were very comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep the whole time. There was a lovely welcome from Val and her family of pets. If you love animals or have children then they will be delighted with variety of rescued animal family that live around the property. You can tell from how they interact with visitors that they are well cared for and looked after. That was why we didn't meet Keith until some days after as he was so busy. There was a very welcome holiday pack with cream, jam, scones, wine, cakes, biscuits etc - had to bring some home. A bonus for me personally was the property being all on one level as I have mobility problems. There are two steps into the property but there are handrails to get up and down and once inside everything was level. There were TV's in both bedrooms and the lounge so if someone wanted to watch something else then you could go into the main bedroom (which is enormous) where there is a settee at the end of the bed with a TV to watch. Another thing to mention, although we didn't need them, there were instructions left for all appliances but everything 'worked' which also makes a change. I cannot recommend this holiday home enough, it is in a good central location for visiting Wales with the main A40 only being a couple of miles away. What also struck us was the sounds of the countryside, no cars, planes etc. We do hope to return to Molly's Cottage. Thank-you for a very enjoyable holiday.
