    “Convenient and comfortable”
The cottage met all of our requirements very comfortably (except that the wi-fi was a little unpredictable and this was more where we were than any fault in the cottage).

The scattered, pretty village of Llanishen is set in the wonderful Wye Valley, an outstanding area of beauty. With a post office/shop, a petrol station with shop and a fine restaurant/pub, Llanishen has plenty to offer visitors to the area. This beautiful part of Wales offers wonderful walks in magnificent scenery all year round, and a variety of days out for the lovers of history with its array of fine castles, prehistoric caves, Iron Age hillforts and the Blaenavon Iron Works, to name but a few. The delights of Chepstow with its fine shopping and the even finer racecourse are close by as is the equally charming town of Monmouth. A peacefully enchanting visit to Tintern Abbey is a must, as is a round of golf at the Celtic Manor course where the Ryder Cup was held in 2011.
