The property

This pretty chalet is situated near the village of Llansteffan on Elmrise Park.

On the park, there is a picnic area in amongst the mature woodland grounds, perfect for dog walking, as well as the remains of an oxbow lake, The Bishop's Pond, which draws in wildlife and boasts a lovely display of yellow waterlilies in summer.

There is also a children's play park on site, and a 5 minute walk away is a manor house that serves meals.

The lovely village of Llansteffan is a mile and half away from the chalet and has a beautiful beach perfect for a summer family day out.

It also has some lovely walks, a castle and a selection of eateries.

Carmarthenshire is known as the ‘Garden of Wales’, and the beautiful coast provides the ideal backdrop for a wide range of activities.

There is excellent walking, cycling, birdwatching, fishing and golf available, as well as many country parks, show caves, gold mines, steam railways and castles to visit.

Just a short journey takes you to the county town of Carmarthen with numerous shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, and a daily market. This beautiful part of Wales has everything for a perfect holiday, from the peace of the vast sandy beaches to the noise and excitement of the motor racing track at Pembrey.
