Lots of places to visit, Caldey island still as beautiful as ever, and the salmon leap at Cenarth, but Wales infrastructure seems to be getting worse and worse.

  • "Lovely week away peaceful and very comfortable we couldn’t have asked for anymore."

Great location for travelling around plenty of places to visit. Lovely beach at Amroth and great pub at Wiseman’s Bridge. St David’s worth a visit cathedral beautiful (don’t go in peak times very narrow streets and parking limited). We found all car parks in the area very reasonable in price and most contactless for ease. Would definitely recommend the accommodation.

Thanks to Mary & Andy for the homemade scones & jam which were lovely. We loved sitting out having coffee watching the birds on the feeders in our own private grounds. The cottage has everything you need. We visited St David's, Pembroke, Caldey Island and the Velfery Vineyard. Would definitely recommend this cottage if you need to relax.

  • "The 9am time to have to be out by is a mite unfair as the property is small, only two rooms and a bathroom."

We had to improvise a washing line for swimsuits and overhanging trees on the access drive were a problem being in a campervan. We found the accommodation comfortable and very convenient for visiting lots of places but especially Amroth Beach which was a very nice surprise.

Mary and Andy are lovely hosts and everything in the accommodation was of good quality. Although I was lucky with the weather it was cold, but the Hideaway was warm and comfortable to come back to, and on warmer evenings it would be very pleasant to sit outside. .It lived up to its name it was very quiet and restful watching the birds on the feeders. In the afternoon our private garden was a sun trap. The owners Andy and Mary are very friendly but as their entrance was on the other side of the house. The Hideaway is sited a mile off the main road to Pembroke and most of the past tenants have been as far as St Davids and the rest of thePembroke coast in daily expeditions . We restricted our searches to the local coastal resorts and CoadyWoodland gardens which are only two miles away.
