  • "A lovely house to use as a base to visit all the fabulous beaches and coastal walks."

The only issue was the super soft mattress in the main bedroom, it was too soft for me and my wife. I don’t know if needs replacing or whether our age is catching up with us? We had a very good holiday and would recommend the house as somewhere to stay.

  • "As i have already shared we had a parking dispute with the neighbor."

He had parked his vehicle in the private space for flat 10 and we had to park elsewhere, sometime far away from home. Bath towels were not sufficient, had just 3 towels. Cleanliness was excellent. Xbox and games were a surprise and we enjoyed them. Air fresheners and hand wash were not there in all bathrooms/ cloak rooms, itwould be welcome addition. Overall experience was good and would highly recommend.

  • "Nice, cosy and welcoming cottage."

The welcome pack was a lovely touch. On the other hand, the wi-fi was rather slow. The single mattresses were nice, firm and very comfortable whereas the double mattress was too soft for our taste. A few things could make the cottage more practical, such as a hook for a hand towel in the ensuite, a shelf in the shower, a shower head to wash kids' hair in the bath and hooks behind bathroom doors. A wooden or plastic chopping board, colander and potato masher would also be handy, as well as a less bulky clothes airer. Having said that, it was generally clean (apart from the glasses) and the sofa was so comfortable! We had a lovely stay and there is lots to do in the area which is so beautiful.

We found the property easily with sat nav, just need to spot the small row of houses overlooking the green. Very clean thank you for the welcome pack.

All that you need for a great holiday. The double bed seemed to be a little lumpier this time the springs kept making a noise but it didn’t stop me from sleeping. Thanks again x

  • "Bought my 83 year old mum down to see her son as she hadn’t seen him for 2 years."

Had a emotional reunion. Lovely spotless clean house has everything you need. The welcome pack was a lovely addition the only thing which wasn’t a problem was there was no Shower mat as mum would have slipped purchased one and left it for you if you wish to leave in the property. I did lose the keys the day before we left ( so sorry they must have dropped out my pocket) rang Sykes and within 10 minutes the people who looked after the house was there with another set. First class service thank you so much. All in all a lovely holiday would recommend to anyone and will book again ( this time without losing keys ) many thanks.

  • "A very pleasant stay, house was clean and tidy and very tastefully decorated."

Great to have Netflix and a handy enclosed garden for the dogs. Also useful having two bathrooms and a downstairs loo. Location was perfect with shops close by and loads of beautiful beaches and countryside in driving distance. Only criticisms are that the mattresses were uncomfortable and that no handsoap and very little washing up liquid was provided.

Thank you for your comments. We do clearly advertise the property as having two bedrooms with a maximum of 4 occupancy and we do hope that the pictures are clear that it is a terraced property. Thanks for the feedback regarding kitchen equipment, we will look at that for the next season. Property Owner

  • "Could NOT get the cooker extract fan to work."

difficult to get what i wanted on the TV. it was a toshiba and i have an LG at home. 9.00 am is very early to vacate the let. i prepared the previous evening but i still had to set my alarm for an early rise on friday 18th. finding the place on the estate was hard work as you can drive in many circles, everywhere is called a "close". even asked one person living in the same named close had to search around to find the bright pink door. it could do with some kind of sign at the rear - the parking notice for no. 10 cannot easily be seen if the close parking places are occupied. the pink loose leaf information/instructions book said about stripping the beds /bed before leaving and putting the bedding in the "bags provided", what bags? the black plastic roll beneath the kitchen sink? Where in house should they be left? I left them with used supplied towels in bath as in hotels. Several restaurants were listed, but it could do with a "Chippy" (several in Milford Haven area apparently) and directions for getting to them.

Thank you for your feedback. We have checked the extractor fan and have not been able to identify any fault, although of course our cleaner and also Sykes were available for any help required with use of anything throughout your stay. If we had known at the time, we would of course have assisted, along with any help you needed with the TV. Check in and out times have been changed due to the current situation and while regrettable, this is for extra cleaning time for guest comfort and safety. Thanks for letting us know about the parking sign, we will look to reposition that as soon as possible. We usually have laundry bags on the Ottoman in the bedroom, apologies if these were not obvious or were located elsewhere at the time. Property Owner

  • "Cottage was central to everything and very clean."

Only downside was the checking in and checking out times. Whilst I understand we are in a pandemic 5.30pm check in time and 9.00am check out time felt like we lost a day, there was a lot of waiting around on the checking in day and also a mad rush on the check out day. Sykes were good at emailing information about the cottage but was unable to get hold of anyone by phone when I had a query and mailbox said full

Thank you for your feedback and we're glad you enjoyed your stay. We do apologise for the change to check in and check out times at the moment, this is currently necessary due to longer cleaning times for guest comfort and safety. We were not aware of any query pre arrival but I'm glad that Sykes got you all the information that you needed. Property Owner

  • "No curtains or blinds on the downstairs windows and french doors."

The property is nicely furnished and comfortable. It is on a housing estate with some untidy properties nearby. It’s too far to walk into Milford Haven, but there is nothing in the town anyway and you certainly wouldn’t want to go down there after dark. Disappointing welcome pack compared to other places we’ve stayed at.

We are pleased to advise that the property has now had blinds fitted downstairs to the windows and french doors.Thank you very much for your suggestions regarding the windows and blinds. Property Owner

A sleek kitchen lies to the front of the property, this is where you can impress your family or friends with a family-favourite dish to please everyone, with cream coloured units contrasting nicely with the dark worktops, it’s a stylish space to enjoy.

Next door you can find a handy ground-floor cloakroom containing a basin and WC, before moving into the living/dining room where you will spend your evenings relaxing on the inviting brown leather sofa, after finishing up your evening meal in the dining area which continues the stylish theme complete with a glass table and modern burnt-orange chairs.

This space enjoys the natural light flooding in from the patio doors, leading out to a delightful enclosed patio space where your summer mornings can be spent outside with your cup of tea or coffee, waking up for another day of holiday fun.

At the end of the exciting days, head upstairs to find your sleeping spot; first come to the master bedroom, which features an attractive double bed adorned with quality bedding and well-chosen furnishings and décor, then leading into the adjoining en-suite shower room to eliminate any queues for the bathroom when you’re getting ready!

The second bedroom is wonderfully flexible in that it can either be a spacious single room, or if you’ve got one extra guest then whip out the truckle bed from underneath and it can be a twin, as well as benefitting from a built in wardrobe, while next door and completing the interior is the family bathroom containing a bath which is great for getting the little ones bathed and ready for bed, or just enjoying a calm soak at the end of the day.

Begin your exploration by heading straight to Milford Waterfront, which has been transformed from its old fishing past into a modern haven of shops, eateries and bars, perfect for getting to know your surroundings and seeing what the town has to offer, all with the beautiful backdrop of the waterfront.

Pop inside the Milford Haven Museum set within one of the oldest buildings in town that was once the old whale oil storage building, built in 1797 for a bit of local history, before ending the day in one of the many pubs for a brilliant dinner.
