  • "BEAUTIFUL LODGE, OWNER VERY ATTENTIVE."

ALREADY RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. A*******************

  • "Excellent location, spectacular view and a lovely large unit."

There’s no wi-fi in the lodge as advertised, only in communal areas near the beach; the unit description on the Sykes website therefore needs adjusting. 4g services are very patchy in West Wales. However this was a thoroughly enjoyable week and would recommend.

Many thanks for your feedback and I am looking at installing a wifi dongle. Property Owner

There was no WiFi even though the listing said there is,the tv was very intermittent and worn out and only worked on a 2 channels, the microwave LCD screen didn’t work so was pure guesswork how long it was on for,the furniture was old and worn out,the shower in the en-suite leaked all over the floor, there was an old worn out plastic table and chairs on the balcony to sit on,there was supposed to be gravelled area to the side to be able to have BBQs at but was strewn with old decking timber and rubbish,(not a safe area due to rusty nails sticking out of old timber)generally not the usual high std we’ve come to expect from Sykes listings, admittedly the view was outstanding but a lack of WiFi in these times is inexcusable, all in all generally a shabby run down place, shame really ,with a modicum of outlay this place would be a top vacation stay

Many thanks for your comments, the TV has been replaced with a 50 inch TV with Roku. The external area has been replaced with a wraparound glass balcony. Wifi is available at the park reception but I will look at installing an internet dongle. The outside seating has also now been replaced. Property Owner

  • "Location of this lovely spacious lodge is certainly the best weve ever stayed at."

However for us it was not up to scratch with cleanliness, I wipeed down all all until handles plus inside and outside of fridge before using, despite the current situation with Covid I felt it would still needed doing. The floor was rather dirty....I think a hoover in lodge would help. But cleanliness aside it was a wonderful place to stay!

Many thanks for your feedback and I;m sorry an area wasn't satisfactory for you. This has been taken on board and will of course be monitored moving forward. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "Great quite location."

Fantastic view across the bay. Nice accommodation, good facilities. Switched off from the outside as limited internet. Good park for small children. Beach within easy walk, bit stoney, but great for water sports.

The view alone made it but we were very impressed with how equipped the chalet was.The beds were comfortable and bedding and towels provided. The owner Tim met us on the arrival day and made us feel instantly welcome. Overall we had a brilliant stay. Thank you.

The lodge is situated in a raised position with magnificent views overlooking the bay The beach is perfect for sitting or playing on although it does get a bit noisy at weekends due to the jet skis The accommodation is well equipped with everything you should need including toys and games for the kids however the furniture is somewhat dated and the TV is a bit temperamental The patio furniture is a bit past it’s sell by date Internet and mobile phone reception is non existent in the lodge but free wi-fi (300mb per day) is available in the park’s entertainment centre half a mile down the road It can be a bit noisy first thing in the morning especially when new caravans are delivered at 7am or the grass is being mowed at the same time One thing we couldn’t complain about was the weather Unbroken sunshine for 2 weeks - glorious
