The property

This lovely detached double-fronted cottage is situated close to the town of Pembroke, South Wales.

Ideal for families and friends wishing to get away together to explore this lovely part of the country.

At the front of the property there is a large gravelled area with parking available for six cars.

From the main hall you enter the well-equipped kitchen with a dining area which can comfortably seat all guests and has lovely views.

There is the luxury of two sitting rooms so that you can do your own thing if you wish for peace and quiet.

Upstairs, there are two king-size double bedrooms, both with lovely views over the countryside around the cottage.

Down one step and up another step there is a triple bunk room with en-suite shower and a single bedroom with a pull-out trundle bed which also has a cot.

Outside, there is a decked area with a fabulous hot tub, a gravelled area with furniture and steps that lead down to the main lawn, ideal for playing many of the games on offer or having a barbecue whilst taking in the lovely views.

You are free to explore a further two paddocks at the property but care must be taken with young children as there is a stream in one of the paddocks, and a covered well on one of the fields, which will be covered and flagged.

The delightful town of Pembroke is just over a mile away and offers a wonderful castle, shops and a great selection of pubs, tea rooms and restaurants.

Slightly further afield, there is the pretty town of Tenby, perfect to have a go at a few water sports or catch a boat trip.

Alternatively, explore the quaint village of Saundersfoot, which has some fabulous restaurants tucked away.

A medieval walled town, Pembroke is home to a magnificent castle, which was the birthplace of Henry Tudor. In an idyllic location, on the river estuary, this historic town has an abundance of shops, quaint tea rooms and restaurants. The stunning Pembrokeshire coastline is nearby, with its award-winning beaches and great walks along the coastal path. There is a popular cycle route that starts here, taking you through the pretty village of St Florence and then on to Tenby. Bosherton is just 4 miles away, with its beautiful lily ponds and the popular St Govan’s Inn, serving locally-sourced food and fine ales. St Govan’s Chapel is built into the cliff face, where you can take in lovely views from Stack Rocks, or surfers can head to Freshwater West, which featured in one of the Harry Potter films. Within easy reach are Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, where you can feed molly lambs or enjoy a tractor ride, Manor House Wildlife Park, Dinosaur Experience and Heatherton World of Adventures. Pembroke is the ideal base for a family holiday, a walking break or just the chance to unwind in beautiful surroundings.
