All facilities we needed for our baby and very clean/fresh. Great to have a garden too.

  • "The cottage was comfortable and well equipped."

We chose this location because of its close proximity to Martin Heaven as we booked a boat trip to Skomer Island. Unfortunately, the weather was very bad and the trip was cancelled. However, if we did not stay there, we would not have gone to Marloes Sands, which was a beautiful and interesting beach. The pizzas from Camille were very good.

  • "The cottage is just perfect, spotlessly clean with everything we need and very friendly owners."

This is the fifth year that we have visited the cottage and we were very impressed with the changes made to make the cottage COVID safe, Everything necessary had been done, without impacting on our enjoyment at all.

This comfortable cottage for six, in the heart of Marloes village, is less than a mile from the stunning golden sands of Marloes beach and Musselwick sands.

Marloes has a village pub, The Lobster Pot, church, post office and shop with a cafe (open all year), so most needs are catered for.

Dale is just 2 miles away and is an excellent base for sailing.

Milford Haven is 9 miles and Haverfordwest is 12 miles – both towns offer a good selection of shops, supermarkets, eateries pubs and galleries. The island of Gateholm is accessible at low tide and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily joined nearby.

This stretch of coast is stunningly beautiful and unspoilt with glorious views of the bird islands of Skokholm and Skomer.

In the summer, you can take a boat trip from nearby Martin's Haven to see the Puffins, Gannets and Manx Shearwaters on Skomer.

About the location

MARLOES

Milford Haven 9 miles; St. Brides 3.4 miles; Haverfordwest 13 miles.

Marloes is a small village on the Marloes Peninsula in Pembrokeshire, within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The village has a pub, The Lobster Pot, a small café and a village shop. The spectacular beaches and rocky coves around Marloes are well-known for many historic shipwrecks, caused by the treacherous seas surrounding Skokholm Island, just off the coast. Marloes Sands, a National Trust beach with spectacular geology is certainly worth a visit, as is Skomer Island, where you can take a boat trip to view its 6,000 pair of puffins and 120,000 pairs of Manx Shearwaters.

Note: Please bring your own beach towels and cot linen.
Note: Sleeps 5 in beds plus a pull out for the 6th guest.
