  • "Everything was perfect - super clean, welcoming flowers and milk, well equipped and comfy bed."

Even a freezer and washing machine! Quiet and peaceful but close enough to get to see the area. We had a very relaxing few days. Quaint little log cottage with lots of outdoor relaxing space when the sun shines.

  • "The owner was communicative and willing to make improvements such as replacing a burned pan and having kitchen spotlights mended during our stay."

Very comfortable bed and bedding. Good shower. WiFi is poor. Good for remote beaches and coastal path walking. Peaceful and far from the crowds. The log cabin is conducive to relaxation.

Thank you for your comments, we are always happy to take feedback onboard and improve the holiday experience. We have now upgraded the wifi in the property and can only apologize for any inconvenience caused during your stay. We hope to see you again in the near future. Property Owner

  • "The best thing about the holiday was the location."

It's a lovely cabin and in a perfect spot for a romantic break for couples or a single person wanting to get away from the crowds. It is extremely peaceful and was just right for a relaxing, safe holiday during these covid times.

  • "Little Trees is a sweet little log cabin and worked well in combination with the larger Pwll Cottage."

It is compact but very well equipped for two people with an excellent walk-in shower When wet, the gate short-cut access to Pwll Cottage garden is a bit treacherous so you have to use the longer route - that could be easily remedied with some gravel over the slippery bit! It is also quite a dark cottage inside with not much of an outlook - if some of the high hedging was dealt with, it really would be nicer still! Generally, it was a good experience - it was very clean, there was a welcoming carton of milk and welsh cakes as well as roses on the table, and the owner very kindly checked that all was well during the week! Very peaceful and calming with just a few rabbits for company!

Thank you for your feedback, we have now added steps down the slope to provide easier access. We have also coppiced the hazel around the cottage Property Owner

  • "We came away for a walking week in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire and found this idealic home."

This remote hideaway gave us peace and tranquility every evening we returned from our mainly costal walks in the area, using buses 351 & 222 when required. ( we never used the car ) All our needs were cared for with excellent facilities and utensils of plenty. Power shoer was a blessing and an extremely comfortable bed. We will recommend to all and sundry and will return next year.

Marros Cottages

Choose between two charmingly different cottages in the most peaceful location - or, for a larger group, book both! Marros Cottages are at the end of a half-mile farm lane and comprise the stone-built Pwll Cottage (Ref. 979533) and the cosy, Scandinavian log cabin Little Trees (Ref. 981301). Each of these cottages has a private outdoor area: they do not overlook each other, have separate driveway/parking, and yet are just a minute’s walk away from each other. Each is well-equipped and lovingly furnished and decorated by the owners to make you feel at home and ready to relax as soon as you arrive. Marros Cottages are half way between the wonderful sandy beaches of Amroth and Pendine, and with the award winning Pembrokeshire coastal path close by, you can enjoy invigorating coastal walks right from the door.
