    “We have just returned from a wonderful New Year break in The Dairy.”

    It was just what we all needed. We wanted to play lots of games, go out on walks from the house and to nearby beaches, and cook some yummy food. The beds were super comfy, and the lounge seated us all in the evenings. The showers in the bathrooms were great too. We wanted to pass on one piece of feedback which we hope you find useful - the kitchen could really do with a wider selection of cooking utensils. We cooked every day and were without, for example, a potato peeler, fish slice for fried ...

There is a well-equipped kitchen, with everything you need to make the most of the dining area leading into a sitting room with comfy seating and cosy woodburner.

Outside, you can sit on your private patio, with elevated views across the farmstead and the gently sloping valley.

Alternatively take a while to walk the undulating shared grounds down to the pond and just soak up the fabulous rural idyll.

You are surrounded by the undulating Carmarthenshire countryside with the rivers meandering down to Carmarthen Bay and the impressive Pendine Sands or the pretty literary town of Laugharne, lyrical home of Dylan Thomas which winds around to the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline, opening up fabulous walking and cycling.

You are ideally placed to explore the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with various sandy beaches being just 15 miles away, such as Amroth and Saundersfoot or perhaps, depending on the time of year, why not grab a wildlife watching boat trip from Tenby or partake in one of the many water sports there.

The area offers numerous outdoor activities such as wildlife spotting boat trips, fishing, golf, horse riding and water sports.

You are around thirty minutes from several theme parks, such as Manor Park, Blue Lagoon or Oakwood, giving everyone of all ages great choices for a variety of days out, you are sure to find something for all the family.

St. Clears is a small town set inland between Carmarthen and the coastal resorts of the Pembrokeshire coast. Great for exploring the South Wales coastline, the area is ideal for walkers, cyclists, and explorers alike. St. Clears hosts a variety of festivals and carnivals throughout the year, and has a number of shops, pubs and eateries, and the mound of the 12th century St. Clears Castle can still be seen. Within a short drive of St. Clears are Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and the Heron's Brook Golfing and Fishing Centre. Visit Tenby, Laugharne Castle, the Dylan Thomas Boathouse and the renowned Botanic and Aberglasney Gardens. In all directions there is easy access to stunning scenery including the Preselli Mountains, the Pembrokeshire coastal path, Gower Peninsula, and the Brecon Beacons.
