“Of all the places I've rented over the past few years, this one has been the best equipped.”

Never before have I found herbs and spices in the cupboard for starters! Everything we needed was there. Price-wise, the apartment was very reasonable and situated in a really central place with great views of the Marina and yet quiet and within easy walking distance of, not only the Marina shops and cafes but of the town centre, a large Tesco, the railway station and Enterprise Car Hire. When we were there, the weather was truly abysmal! For nearly a whole week we had storms - Helene, Ali, etc - with monsoon-like rain and very high winds. We were cosy and warm at all times. I slept on the mezzanine in a very comfortable double bed. I'm not easy to please with mattresses and pillows because I have spinal problems but I slept so well. There are plenty of drawer units and tables to put things on/in plus open hanging with dozens of hangers. The en-suite was the largest I've had in a holiday rental. My friend slept downstairs and she was also very comfortable and had plenty of hanging space and tables too. The sofas were incredibly comfortable and there were games and DVDs aplenty to keep people of all ages entertained. The only part of the apartment I'd love to redesign is the kitchen! The sink is in a corner which makes washing up extremely difficult and awkward. I'm sure that most holiday-makers eat out or have takeaways mostly so that probably isn't much of an issue but I like cooking. Another major plus is that the owner is very quick to respond to queries and, from the ambience of the apartment, it is obvious that she has put a lot of care and thought into the place and really cares about her visitors. All in all, I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The property

A beautifully-presented second floor apartment on this wonderful South Wales coast overlooking the marina in Milford Haven.

An ideal location for a relaxing break where guests can enjoy watching the array of boats bobbing on the water at the marina as well as browsing the quirky little shops and sampling the eating places which create a charming atmosphere where a morning coffee, an evening drink or a full meal will be thoroughly enjoyed in these perfect surroundings.

With an open plan living area you can all enjoy preparing and eating family meals together, and spend time relaxing, watching and listening to the chinking of the sails on the array of boats in the marina either from the sitting room or on the small balcony.

Two charming bedrooms and a bathroom are next to the living area, and a mezzanine double bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom overlooks the sitting area but also has some privacy with a freestanding screen.

Strolling around this pretty marina is a joy any time of the year, watching the boats come and go, enjoying the shops and eating places on offer and not forgetting to check out the award-winning Torch Theatre, which is just a short distance away.

Delightful local beaches and the famous coastal path beckon, and there are many other Pembrokeshire attractions to visit, such as St David’s, the smallest city in the UK with its magnificent cathedral, majestic castles and theme parks, are all found nearby.

After superb days out, returning to this delightful apartment to relax and enjoy a good night’s sleep before tomorrow’s activities is a real treat.
