  • "Beautiful cottage in quiet, pleasant location."

Very comfortable and spacious for the six of us and two dogs. The youngsters enjoyed the games room. Beaches and countryside easily accessible. It was altogether a very enjoyable birthday break for my daughter and the rest of us. Thank you Geinor (owner).

  • "This is a superb cottage to stay at."

It was clean, Gaynor the owner was a delight and was on hand for any problems we had and also told us some fantastic places to visit which we would never have found. The games room was brilliant and we spent all week using this and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The area is beautiful with fantastic views. The cottage is in a quiet area which was lovely on a night time. We were within an hour of the Mumbles, Gower coast, Tenby and Skomer Island. The facilities in the cottage were great and meant that if we wanted to eat in rather than have a meal out we could do that with ease as everything we needed was there. Having a washing machine was a boom as o piles of washing to do when we got home. There were 4 adults in our group but the cottage would be ideal if you have children as there were lots of child friendly attractions in the area. If you visit, Pembrey Country Park is a must, it has everything for country and beach lovers. We would definitely go back and stay here again if we went back to the area.

  • "This cottage was by far the best cottage we found."

Honestly we couldn't of asked for a better a holiday and a more attentive, caring and helpful host, she was literally a phone call away for anything at all and we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack, a warm smile and advice with places to go and see. The cottage exceeded our imaginations and the games room was the hit of the week, I would recommend this to absolutely anyone. If you're looking to book somewhere in South Wales this is your place hands down!!!!!! we will definitely be returning without a doubt

  • "Pen-Yr-Erw was a really good base for our holiday (four adults and a two year old) with loads of space to spread out."

The property was clean and the facilities adequate for our needs. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery that you would need. We self catered all week for all meals (all bar the first night when we had a chippy tea) and we were able to do a full roast dinner without any issues. If you like quirkiness, the 'Pub' at the top of the garden was an excellent touch, complete with pool table, dart board, dominoes, 'jukebox' and children's play area. The owner, Gaynor, was fantastic and couldn't do enough to ensure our holiday was a success, with plenty of ideas on what to do and see in the area. Would I recommend this holiday cottage to others? Most definitely.

We were only ten minutes from Pembrey were there is the country park and a long clean beach. Burry port has a lovely harbour. Llanelli is not far if you want shopping otherwise ther is a farm shop close by with a wonderful play area for children.
