Parking directly outside the lodge. The site is only accessible to those staying on it. Thoroughly enjoyed using the outside decking and hot tub. Lots of places to visit close by in the car, beautiful beaches and stunning coastal scenery. Narberth is in walking distance and has lots of little shops, great fruit and veg and butchers. If you want a peaceful holiday in high class accommodation then Fir Lodge will not disappoint.

It was in an excellent location, hidden from other lodges, so very private. The location gives you easy access to many places of interest to visit. Overall it was an excellent holiday, and, we hope that we may be able to return at some time in the future.

  • "An excellently appointed home in a private setting with well kept hot tub and welcome pack which was superbly tasty."

A hand towel, fresh from the laundry was badly stained and couldn't be used. Because it was the weekend I waited 2 days for another. The lighting in the home is not bright enough to read/ do games/ play cards. At least one extra bright, perhaps over the big table would be good otherwise it is a super place and I would go again.

Thank you for your feedback and pleased you had an enjoyable holiday. We are sorry to learn you were not fully satisfied with Firs Lodge and for clarification wish to respond as follows. With regard to the lodge lighting, the kitchen, dining area and lounge have dimmer switches fitted, enabling guests to create a suitable ambience for their requirements throughout the day. The kitchen has under cupboard lighting and a halogen ceiling fitment for full task light. 2 table lamps and a floor standing angle poise reading lamp are provided in the living area in addition to the 2 large ceiling shades. We offer our apologies for the stained hand towel. As explained at the time of your visit, our cleaning company are closed on Sunday except for emergencies. As 2 further hand towels were available in the lodge, a replacement was made on Monday. Please be assured, we and our management team do our very best to offer a comfortable and well-maintained holiday accommodation for all our guests at Firs. Property Owner

Firs Lodge was excellent, position, facilities the only slight problem was the hand sanitiser disposal unit by the entrance door was not working. Fortunately we had our own. We have potential friends coming round tonight for a drink and debrief, we will be recommending Firs Lodge. We would suggest providing a second shower in the family bathroom. For us two it was fine but with a group of 4 that could prove difficult using just one shower unit.

  • "We were worried about this holiday due to outside circumstances but it exceeded expectations in every respect."

Firstly, we have usually stayed in a different lodge, which is now no longer available, so we were a little apprehensive as to whether this one would be as good. Secondly, the whole issue with lockdown meant that we wondered how different things would feel in general. We arrived feeling a little nervous. We needn't have worried. The lodge wasn't just as good - it was better. So much so, that if we had the chance to go back to the original, we wouldn't. It was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and well-stocked. Checking in was easy and convenient and the area was just as lovely as ever. Despite circumstances, things still felt relaxed and pleasant.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback which is most appreciated. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and had a relaxing holiday in the present circumstances. Like you, we were somewhat nervous about the Covid situation and took steps to create as safe as possible environment for our guests whilst staying in our lodge. We hope we can welcome you back to Firs in the future. Best wishes. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely holiday, lodge was modern and clean."

Very well equipped, in a stunning location. The only problem we had is on our return home we realised that we had left a phone charger plugged in at the lodge, and my wife had only put one earring in before leaving from home, the other must have been left in the lodge as she only went from lodge to the car. We telephoned the reception straight away, and we were told that inquiries would be made. Three days later we phone up again and we were told that they could not get into the lodge until the next guest had left. It has now been over a week and we still have not heard anything. These items should have been found by the person cleaning the lodge after the visit. Can not understand why the items were not logged in a lost and found book. Then we would have been able to be told straight away. I either cleaned the lodge so well before I left so the cleaner did not have to do any cleaning, or the cleaner just check everything properly. Aftercare not very good .

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your stay at Firs Lodge. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed your holiday and everything the lodge and the surrounding area have to offer. However, we're sorry that we were not able to locate the items you left behind. The on site team did search thoroughly for your belongings but were unable to find any trace of them. The reception at the golf club was excellent. The gentlemen who served us was very polite and pointed out that someone will be up soon to make sure everything was OK. Which we all felt was a very nice touch. The Lodge (Firs) was excellent, we could not fault it even the hot tub was checked every morning to make sure it was OK to use. The resort was very peaceful and tranquil in fact the only noise was when we fed the ducks in the morning that live on the resorts lake. Narberth is a short but rather hilly walk but it is worth the exercise as there are some nice coffee and cake shops in there along with restaurants for a lunchtime or evening meal. Location wise was good the longest drive we did was to St Davids around 45 min. Other towns like Tenby and Saundersfoot were both under the 25 minute mark. We did some nice walks in Lawrenny, Angle and the Lilly pond lakes at Bosherston are a most. However the highlight of our stay was the coasteering at Tenby, great fun. All in all we had a fantastic break will hopefully go back sometime soon.
