  • “Superb accommodation!”

Very well appointed property with everything that you’d need. Great location on a quiet road but with an easy walk to town in one direction and the sea in the other direction. Very close to the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Oh, and the view? Put it this way…if you spent your whole week with the doors open, a coffee (or a glass of something cold) in your hand, your feet up, gazing at the view, it would be a week well spent!

The property

Boasting incredible sea views across Newport Bay towards Morfa Head is Hafan Fach, a contemporary and detached bungalow, ideal for a large family or group gathering to the south west Wales coast.

Park on the driveway and capture your first glimpse of the incredible views on offer, before heading up the set of steps to the entrance to find a porch, where you can hang up your coats and kick off your shoes, before heading into the main part of the house.

Discover the fantastic open-plan living room, where you'll be immediately consumed by the incredible views on offer in the sitting room, where the tri-fold doors can be opened up on a summer's day to reveal those amazing sea views.

Relax onto one of two large sofas, placed close to a lovely woodburning stove, which can fill the room with warmth in the evening as you choose a family film to watch or curl up with a good book.

The stunning kitchen boasts slate tiled floors, sleek white units, granite worktops, a range of appliances including a double oven and five-burner gas hob, plus ample space to prepare delicious home-cooked meals, to be enjoyed at the large island breakfast bar area or together as a group at the more formal dining table.

When sleep is calling, discover four bedrooms that you can catch a good night's rest in, including the master king-size double, which boasts a Velux window, which has a blind, to ensure a peaceful sleep, as well as a Juliet balcony, so you can enjoy the sea views, plus a handy en-suite shower room with a large walk-in shower, where you can prepare for each day.

A spacious double and a twin bedroom each have patio doors leading onto a shared, enclosed patio with glass balustrade, where you can sit with a morning coffee and enjoy the uninterrupted views, while the final twin bedroom overlooks the pretty garden.

The family bathroom has a choice of bath with shower over, as well as a bright burst of turquoise reminiscent of the sea nearby, as well as a heated towel rail, so you can warm up your towels for extra comfort.

Spend time in the back garden, where you can dine alfresco on the patio, while steps up lead onto a spacious lawn where the children can play, and there is a shed for storing bikes, should you wish to bring any.

The centre of Newport, along with a selection of shops for picking up any essentials, and a range of pubs and restaurants, can be reached within a few minute's walk, while the golf course overlooks the coast and is the perfect way to end an afternoon unwinding amidst glorious scenery after spending a few hours in the sunshine at nearby Newport Beach.

Explore endless miles of coastline along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, hugely popular with walkers and cyclists, while more picturesque walking opportunities can be discovered amongst the moorland and heath of the Preseli Mountains, which boast panoramic views of Snowdonia and out to sea as far as Ireland.

Brush up on your local history knowledge by paying a visit to the historical landmark of Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber, while slightly further afield is the Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort.

Further down the coast is the popular town of Fishguard, home to an array of shopping and dining opportunities.
