    Great with a dog even though no enclosed area, because close proximity to beach and lovely walks more than makes up for that. Not the best accommodation we've had but position makes it best relaxing holiday. That said it was clean, kitchen/diner/lounge bit of a squeeze. Walk in double size showers great. Firmer mattresses and softer pillows would have been good. Had to sleep in the two singles together as double is too small for us, also that is the room with sliding doors to the view. I'd like ...

I'd like a king-size bed in there. Ikea are great quality and cheap. Pillow protectors need washing as well as sheets and cases.

The property

There are wonderful sea views over Newport Sands links golf course and beyond to the Nevern estuary, Carningli Mountain and the seaside town of Newport/Trefdraeth from this lovely ground floor suite. The sunsets over the beach are superb and you can get to the beach in about 3 minutes.

The golf club facilities, including the famous "nineteenth hole" are open to all comers.

Newport itself is 2.5 miles by road and about 20 minutes if you take a walk along the coastal path via the estuary which is a bird spotter's paradise.

In Newport you will find a good selection of welcoming pubs, eateries, galleries and individual shops.

Other places to visit are Fishguard, Cardigan, St Dogmaels, St Davids and Porthgain.

Newport lies on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which is renowned worldwide for its unique landscape and wonderful opportunities to go dolphin and seal spotting.
