  • "We had another lovely stay, despite the weather."

Good walks almost from the front door and beautiful Cwm Yr Eglwys to swim in. The cottage was comfortable and well served with towels and bedding. I would definitely come again. Only slightly negative note, which others have mentioned. Still unclear about general rubbish. No black bag or where to put it. And the saucepans!

Thank you for your feedback and we're so please you enjoyed your stay! We're sorry the information about general waste still hasn't been updated and that there were no black bags for you - we changed cleaners a few weeks ago and there are obviously some teething problems that need to be sorted out. We're a bit confused about the comments on the pans as there are quite a few tucked in the corner cupboard under the hob. We provided casserole style pans rather than pans with handles as they are safer with children - but there are at least 5 of different sizes. Once again, thanks for feeding back we really value your comments! Property Owner

  • "Very well equipped generally."

Would benefit if there were more saucepans! There is only one very large one and a milk saucepan. A signal booster for the TV would probably be useful as well. Some information on what to do with household waste would be helpful. Having said that, the property is comfortable and has most things visitors would neef

Thank you so much for your feedback and we'll be following up your suggestions. So sorry you only had two pans - there are meant to be many more than that - we're investigating what has happened and replacing them. Hope you had a lovely stay in Cwm yr Eglwys! Property Owner

  • "A beautifully maintained and incredibly clean cottage, clearly the owners love this place."

The underfloor heating is welcome but the temperature is locked at 18/18.5 for the main living room and bathrooms, with bedrooms being unlocked for guests to adjust to suit themselves (the smallest bedroom seemed overly warm at all times). We found the temperature in the back bathroom too cool to use, and the front bathroom just about ok. We lit an open fire each evening for extra warmth, maybe it’s our older bones that need that extra warmth. If ever the owners feel the need to refurbish the bathrooms perhaps consider a wet room arrangement to allow easy access for those that find baths a tricky option. The beds are so comfy, and coupled with the quiet location it meant we slept long and soundly. We were sorry not to be able to use the waste disposal despite the comprehensive instructions, and didn’t know what to do with the black bag of rubbish, hoping we did the correct thing. Grateful for the information folder, thank you. The cottage is a fantastic place to step back from the busy-ness of every day life, to notch down a gear and truly relax. It had everything we needed to hideaway for a week and enjoy the wonderful coastline. We really intend to return.

Thank you for this very helpful feedback and we're so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We have noted your comment on the temperature and increased the settings, clarified the information folder and the waste disposal is now working, so we hope you'll come back again to visit soon! Property Owner
