  • "Fantastic property - comfortable, very clean, great beds and very spacious for the family of 4 adults and a dog."

    Great location and town. Central to everything and great to have off-road parking. Super beaches and coastline. Would definitely return and recommend as lots more left to see and do. Minor details... Iron was still left plugged in the top double room and very hot when we arrived! Oven was poor as settings rubbed away on dials and it took double-time to cook anything so maybe an up-grade soon? Outdoor lighting by garden would be helpful or a torch

  • "Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us."

    Our two teenage kids and us had a fabulous week in Ty Post and loved the doorstep convenience of amazing local butchers, fruit & veg, deli, hardware & beachware, sweetshop, Monday market, pharmacy, pubs, pizza, as well as easy access to coast path, beaches, Mynydd Carningli, football pitches, mountain biking at Llys-y-Frân, surf lesson, & local ice cream. We had warm welcomes & help from locals and shopkeepers. The weather was perfect. The house was cosy but v spacious, v comfortable, very well equipped and with sumptuous beds & sofas. The host was very helpful and supportive of our additional needs and the dog was very relaxed. The secure yard and garden was spacious. Just a couple of things in that the garden table needed some cleaning and the shed contents some tlc too. The hot water supply was initially not adequate but the owner quickly helped us with sorting that, thank you. We had a couple of disturbed nights with rowdy pub goers and the 10pm boy/girl-racers was a nightly occurrence but both issues were short-lived. In fairness, we normally live in an isolated farmhouse, so anywhere in an urban setting was going to feel noisier for sure! It didn’t put us off though. We would love to come back again if we’re able! Diolch yn fawr lawn. Thank you so much.

  • "The property was spacious and very clean."

    The kitchen was very well supplied with quality equipment and crockery. The bedrooms were lovely and large and also had quality sheets, duvets and pillows. Beds were really comfortable. A great dining room with a large comfortable living room too. Garden was great to sit in and chill with a wine or three. 10 out of 10 for this property, we could not fault anything.

  • "Pleasant apartment, very comfortable living space and bedrooms, great shower and well equipped kitchen so spacious."

    Light and airy. The enclosed garden is a good size for children and dogs nice and flat. Super location for estuary and beach walks all within walking distance of the accommodation. Our 3rd visit and we’re returning in October .

  • "Spacious clean accommodation and on site parking."

    Located in the centre of Newport close to pubs, restaurants, bus stop and a short walk to the Parrog for great coastal walks. Enjoyed our stay comfortable bed and lounge to relax in. Would certainly stay at Ty Post again.

  • "Lovely spacious flat with comfortable seating and all the comforts of home."

    Kitchen well equipped and easy to use. Central heating worked well and kept us warm for a winter holiday. Great for the dog access to garden perfect and then straight out onto the coast path around the estuary to the sea.Welcoming cafe at the golf club dogs welcome. Shops in the little village were super great butchers , hardware store , antique and book shop plenty to browse around.Outdoor market on Mondays very welcoming in the cafes and great whole food store.

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at Ty Post - everything was perfect - it was clean, comfortable, & had everything we could need and more plus all in a fantastic location."

    The garden was great and our dog loved playing ball in it. The local food options were many and varied and the pizzas from over the road were amazing. We were able to walk from the house both along the coastal path and up in the hills - we were 5 adults ( 3 grown up kids) and a dog - Thank you

  • "Ty Post is a lovely, light, airy, spacious apartment."

    Comfortable seating and super comfy king size bed. Kitchen well equipped with an efficient hob and cooker. Great garden for the collie with lounge overlooking at the back of the property. Although the first floor bedroom looks out onto a busy road it was very peaceful at night. We liked the flat and situation at the coast within a short walk so much we’ve booked again .

  • "We had a fabulous stay at Ty Post."

    The apartment was very spacious, well equipped with everything you need and clean. As a couple we only used the first floor but the bed was so comfortable, I’m sure the others are too. The apartment is central to everything, shops pubs and beautiful walks which our Whippet Arthur throughly enjoyed. He also enjoyed the enclosed garden which is a sun trap when the sun was out

Step inside Ty Post and explore the first and second floors, complete with three bedrooms and all the necessities required to enjoy a fuss-free, self-catered stay.

Get to grips with a range of appliances in the well-equipped kitchen to rustle up a delicious meal before settling down in the dining room, ready to tuck in as conversation turns to your itinerary.

If you prefer to soak up your surroundings a little while longer, head outside to the fully enclosed spacious rear garden where you can take in the stunning views while you enjoy a spot of alfresco dining.
