Newtown is on your doorstep, a hugely popular and pretty little coastal town with a great selection of shops, places to eat and a weekly market with a choice of meandering walks down to the sandy stretch of beach.

You are ideally placed to explore the breathtakingly wonderful coastline of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, stretching south from Cardigan Bay with the Preseli Hills rising away inland, source of the mystical bluestones of Stonehenge and where you can marvel at a variety of nearby Celtic monuments.

The area offers numerous outdoor activities such as fantastic bird and wildlife spotting opportunities, fishing, golf, horse riding and great walking and cycle trails.

There is a fabulous selection of beaches stretching away in both directions which you may wish to spend your time exploring.

Alternatively, why not take a day trip further afield to the tiny unassuming city of St Davids, the size of a small village yet hiding an impressive cathedral sitting on the top of St Brides Bay with a variety of fabulous beaches and tiny fishing harbours to enjoy.

Wonderful coastal walks along the path or in the nearby Preseli Hills with the ever changing scenery are a walkers dream all year round. Learn about history when you visit the mills, craft centres and castles dotted around the county or spend a day at the wonderful Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort where you can learn hands on all about living during that time.
