We would stop again. This is our first uk holiday in over 30 years, and it will not be our last.

  • "On arrival it took 20mins to open the key safe(a quick spray of wd40)would ease this problem."

One light bulb was out in the living room which i changed with the bulbs supplied in a kitchen cupboard and the remote to work the fire would not work because the batteries were flat so i swapped them with the batteries out of a remote we did not use.only small problems but should have been checked before the arrival of a new tennant.that said the bungalow was warm, clean, comfortable and nice and spacious with everything youde need for a beautiful relaxing base.we would have no hesitation to return again.

Perfectly situated to get to Tenby and Penally Beach.

  • "The cottage was very clean, comfortable, quiet and in a great location."

It was missing some "home comforts", for example, bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the double beds, a bin in the bathroom, mirrors in all bedrooms, and more furniture in the living room, e.g. side tables to put drinks on. The kitchen was adequately provisioned, although the saucepan set was old and eclectic, and some extra things, e.g. microwaveable bowl and scales would have been welcomed. Spare batteries would also have been welcomed, as some remote controls and clocks weren't working. Also, although the standard of decoration inside the cottage was good, the garden needed attention - opening your curtains on a glorious morning to be greeted with a vista of drab grey breezeblocks was not inspiring.

  • "On arrival we felt the property was adequately clean but on later inspection was a bit dismayed by the accumulated dust on skirtings door frames and pipes."

The towels provided are very small and we only had two of these and one very small hand towel. The sink in the bathroom doesn’t run away properly, and the controls on the shower don’t turn off unless you give them a very hard turn. The kitchen equipment is missing casserole dish and vegetable peeler. Both small things but we feel should be there. Overall not the best property we have rented

  • "We had a lovely holiday at 10 St Nicholas Crescent Penally."

Very comfortable and clean and very convenient to all amenities and beaches. A pub only minutes away selling very good food and supermarkets only a minutes drive away. We would definitely stay here again. Fully recommend this holiday let.

  • "Lovely location and nice little bungalow."

a few finishing touches would be handy- rack on the draining board for drying dishes, bin in the bathroom. Otherwise all good, thanks.

  • "Could'nt really sit in garden comfortably grass overgrown."

would of been useful to have a washing machine. there were black marks/mould not sure which within the silicone around the windows. I'm sure these matters could of been easily put right if a proper inspection had taken place would not give it a four star rating for these points. Also worth noting there is a lovely local bakery behind the pub where you can also collect fresh milk but need to take an empty bottle. But it is ideal for closeness to beach and coastal walks and the area is very quite.

  • "This property was ideal for the wife and I."

It was situated just far enough out of Tenby to enjoy a good walk into the town. It was also close to the Coastal Path to enjoy a walk in either direction along the coast, and also fairly close to the beach. The pub, situated 400 yards or so from the property, was ideal for a relaxing evening drink. The bungalow contained everything we needed and all the furnishings seemed to be good quality. The weather was really good for the week we were there and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this property, and would be happy to return in the future if we re-visit the area.

  • "A very nice clean bungalow in quiet position with good furniture and nicely decorated but very sparse."

No bedside cabinets/lights or mirror in bedrooms, no table lamp in lounge, no vegetable peeler (had to buy one). Also had to buy loo paper as roll ran out. Some of these points had been mentioned in visitor book a few times but not actioned. It wouldn't take much to make this a much more comfortable "home from home".

  • "Very impressed when we arrived at the bungalow we hired , spotlessly clean and had most things you needed in the kitchen I think if you are going for longer than a week a washing machine would be handy."

The bungalow is central for lots of lovely places we took mum for her 89th birthday and she enjoyed it , her favourite places being Pendine Sands and Saundersfoot. I would definitely book with Skyes Cottages again .

  • "Beautiful cottage, we absolutely loved the peaceful, relaxing location & very private garden."

Fairly well equipped but didn’t appear to be any games or books for youngsters which might put young families off a little. No welcome pack (milk, tea, sugar etc) which we have always had in other holiday cottages in the past (& we’ve had quite a few.) Would definitely like to return to No10. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our break & would recommend No10 & highly recommend Sykes.
