  • "We had a lovely time , the lodge is in a quiet area but within easy reach of Pendine beach."

The lodge is very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

  • "On arriving at the lodge/van we were greeted by 8 rats."

It was not the best start to our holiday as one of our party has a phobia of them. The lodge is Situated between the bins the gas cylinders and a deep ditch of water the smells acrid. The lodge itself was lovely, comfortable and welcoming, if the position on the park could be changed then it would be excellent. When all the power was lost, because we used the dishwasher and washing machine together the problem was rectified quickly. I contacted the owner about the problem s and she was helpful although couldn’t do anything about the rats who joined us for the rest of the week

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry about the experience you had with the rats, unfortunately, it was the site that had the issue. Pest control has since attended and resolved the issue completely which is clear to see from the more recent feedback. I am glad to hear you liked the lodge. Once again thank you for the feedback. The Lodge is 1st class, great taste and so well equipped. First holiday with my little dog but so secure for her. Only down side no mop & bucket and could do with a better hoover .All in all a lovely holiday and great weather. We will hopefully be back Dawn, Gary & Margaret and Lexi the dog

  • "Disappointed in the comfort of the settees and chair."

The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Very soft and with regard to the double mattress I could feel every movement made by my husband and vice versa.

About the location

PENDINE

Tenby 15 miles.

A delightful seaside village with a seven mile stretch of sandy beach, famous in its history for car racing and speed record attempts. The fateful car ‘Babs’, the driver of which was killed in one of the many speed record attempts, was buried in the sands for many years, but has now been dug up, restored and is often in the local museum for all to admire. Even the famous Amy Johnson used these perfect flat sands to take off on one of her many record flights. Steeped in history, these sands are perfect all year round, whether sunbathing, swimming and kite flying. With local pubs and restaurants serving good food, a café, a grocery shop and gift shops, Pendine is the perfect seaside village. Pendine is also home to the recently built Land of Speeds MUseum, which can be found on Pendine Promenade; the land speed record was actually broken on Pendine's beach, too! Nearby, the attractions range from Dylan Thomas' famous boathouse, where he penned so many of his literary masterpieces, castles, more sandy beaches, hidden coves and the vibrant seaside resort of Tenby, with Caldey Island and the majestic monastery a short boat trip away. A stunning location for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
