  • "Great lodge."

Great position, minutes from the beach which is also a great beach for children and dogs.

  • "The lodge is outstanding, home from home."

The post code doesn't take directly to where the lodge is sited so it would be good to have a detailed map. The mattresses are very springy and the double bed only has a double duvet. Could of been cleaned a little bit better. The site is very quite All in all a lovely place to unwind.

  • "I would like to firstly say that the lodge was really nice and it was a great position close to the beach and the town."

The were a couple of issues the first one being that over the items in the oven we're really dirty and had baked on burnt fat which took an hour to clean before we could use them, also the washing machine broke although this was not the owners fault it was new but it did mean we had to go to the launderette a few times which costs 15 pounds when we should have had a washing machine in the lodge. I think the lodge could do with a good Spring clean at the end of the season especially for the carpets and the blinds both other than that really it was a nice lodge with a good balcony for our dogs which is very secure.

The lodge is very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

  • "On arriving at the lodge/van we were greeted by 8 rats."

It was not the best start to our holiday as one of our party has a phobia of them. The lodge is Situated between the bins the gas cylinders and a deep ditch of water the smells acrid. The lodge itself was lovely, comfortable and welcoming, if the position on the park could be changed then it would be excellent. When all the power was lost, because we used the dishwasher and washing machine together the problem was rectified quickly. I contacted the owner about the problem s and she was helpful although couldn’t do anything about the rats who joined us for the rest of the week

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry about the experience you had with the rats, unfortunately, it was the site that had the issue. Pest control has since attended and resolved the issue completely which is clear to see from the more recent feedback. I am glad to hear you liked the lodge. Once again thank you for the feedback. • "Disappointed in the comfort of the settees and chair."

The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Very soft and with regard to the double mattress I could feel every movement made by my husband and vice versa.

About the location

PENDINE

Tenby 15 miles.

A delightful seaside village with a seven mile stretch of sandy beach, famous in its history for car racing and speed record attempts. The fateful car ‘Babs’, the driver of which was killed in one of the many speed record attempts, was buried in the sands for many years, but has now been dug up, restored and is often in the local museum for all to admire. Even the famous Amy Johnson used these perfect flat sands to take off on one of her many record flights. Steeped in history, these sands are perfect all year round, whether sunbathing, swimming and kite flying. With local pubs and restaurants serving good food, a café, a grocery shop and gift shops, Pendine is the perfect seaside village. Pendine is also home to the recently built Land of Speeds MUseum, which can be found on Pendine Promenade; the land speed record was actually broken on Pendine's beach, too! Nearby, the attractions range from Dylan Thomas' famous boathouse, where he penned so many of his literary masterpieces, castles, more sandy beaches, hidden coves and the vibrant seaside resort of Tenby, with Caldey Island and the majestic monastery a short boat trip away. A stunning location for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
