  • "There was no designated parking like the property next door, there were a couple of occasions we could not park outside."

Some of the other cars parked awkwardly which did not allow us to park. The cleaning was not up to the standard of other sykes properties that we have stayed in before. E.g. cobwebs in the top corner of one window, hairs on carpet that showed up when you pull3d your slipper back on the carpet. The toilet and kitchen sink where a little dirty we had to clean on arrival.

I am very sorry that you weren't happy with the property. There is a designated parking space. Very occasionally someone else parks in the spot. It is very unusual and on those rare occasions, if we are notified, we approach the person and ask them to use the local car park. I am very surprised if the cleaning was not up to standard as our cleaner is fastidious and you can see from all previous feedback that the standard is high. We can only apologise if an error had occurred on this occasion. Property Owner

  • "Mary and Caroline have made a great effort to make this a home from home, everything that you need on holiday was supplied and it is clear that they put a lot of thought and effort into making sure that everything was available."

Including a dishwasher which a very nice touch. Very good communication and attention to detail. Complimentary bottle of wine, biscuits, coffee and milk on arrival all made it a little bit more personal and welcoming. Personal free parking at the property. Only comment was that it needs a soap tray in the shower. I would recommend this to any couple thinking of booking and you will not be disappointed. It takes 58 seconds from leaving the gate to the beach, and a very nice beach it is. The shower is hot and powerful, microwave, fridge, freezer full oven and hob. Very comfortable bed. Having four USB points by the bed was very convenient. TV free view but large size. Road outside but you do not hear anything at all. Do your big shop before you come, nearest large shop is Sainsbury's in Tenby or Tescos etc in Carmarthan. I fully recommend this accommodation it was so relaxing. Caban hotel on the beach is minutes away and is the best place for breakfast and a coffee. Mary took the time to show us the house below the flat, and that is equally laid out to a very high standard and with the advantage of a washing machine. Caravan park to the back of the house, but we did not hear any noise during our stay on the second week in October 2023. Nice if you want comfort, seclusion, and beach this it a nice to place to go.

  • "Lovely accommodation, very clean and compact, but perfect for 2."

Great decor, comfy super king sized bed and we loved to seagull! Only 2 comments really, firstly, that the towels provided could have been larger! No bath sheet size available which is pretty much standard size these days. Secondly we were not sure about the balcony as the table and chairs were right outside the house below’s bedroom window, which seemed a little too close really. As it was the weather was not really conducive to sitting outside in the balcony unfortunately.

  • "I enjoyed a really happy week here."

The apartment is very well equipped with modern, quality appliances and furnishings. The location is just 100yds from the beach with a private patio with sea views. Off road parking is right outside. On my day of arrival I received a thorough informative and welcoming txt and on arrival the apartment was spotless and had been stocked with a few essentials like tea, coffee. The fridge had thoughtfully been stocked with fresh milk and a nice bottle of wine.

The Studio is just right for a couple and provides everything you need. Everything was extremely clean with milk and a bottle of wine provided. Mary is a wonderful host giving lots of information on where to eat and places of interest. Had a great holiday that included the Hot Rod racing weekend. Mary went out of her way to ensure we could see the racing both days. I can highly recommend the Studio, had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be back.

  • "There is a large holiday camp next to the property."

On Saturday and Sunday nights they have live performances that we went too. The shops are a little expensive so shop elsewhere if you want a good deal. There are five different places that can do you a cooked breakfast and set you up for the day and they are all serving by 9am. We had trouble parking only once in the week when visitors to the properties spread the cars out to far. It proved to be a good base for the area. Take not there are quite a few steps, more than the picture shows.

About the location

PENDINE

Tenby 15 miles.

A delightful seaside village with a seven mile stretch of sandy beach, famous in its history for car racing and speed record attempts. The fateful car ‘Babs’, the driver of which was killed in one of the many speed record attempts, was buried in the sands for many years, but has now been dug up, restored and is often in the local museum for all to admire. Even the famous Amy Johnson used these perfect flat sands to take off on one of her many record flights. Steeped in history, these sands are perfect all year round, whether sunbathing, swimming and kite flying. With local pubs and restaurants serving good food, a café, a grocery shop and gift shops, Pendine is the perfect seaside village. Pendine is also home to the recently built Land of Speeds MUseum, which can be found on Pendine Promenade; the land speed record was actually broken on Pendine's beach, too! Nearby, the attractions range from Dylan Thomas' famous boathouse, where he penned so many of his literary masterpieces, castles, more sandy beaches, hidden coves and the vibrant seaside resort of Tenby, with Caldey Island and the majestic monastery a short boat trip away. A stunning location for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
