Three good sized bedrooms with two bathrooms . Large kitchen diner and lounge. Huge tv in the dining room and smaller one in the lounge . Beds nice and comfortable. Washing machine and tumble drier in the kitchen . Door on front door not safe as there is a piece missing in the wood above door . Tap at kitchen sink loose as is tap on en-suite sink. Lounge settees need a good vacuum as there is a lot of debris between cushions. Hot tub on site empty on arrival and the owner said I needed to pay a further £150 to use it for the week. Despite phoning Sykes cottages twice I’m still waiting for a phone call to resolve this issue . I paid the owner as I wanted the use of the hot tub but feel very unhappy that I was put in this position . The owner states that he had asked Sykes cottages to refer any clients to him regarding the hot tub. There is nothing on the website to say thère is an extra charge . The young man I spoke to said there was no hot tub mentioned on the website but this is not true . The cottage makes a lovely base but apart from the hot tub there is nothing else available on the property.
