  • "What a lovely house!"

We have stayed three times in a similar area and this is the best property so far. Really great size property, lovely location and everything needed is made available. Would definitely recommend staying here !

  • "A wonderful house in a stunning setting!"

I would definitely go back , the peace and tranquility in the morning listening to the birds! Spotless, well decorated, only little drawback was the heating setting, even on high wasn't overly hot but in better weather that wouldn't be on anyway!

  • "The property was very dusty."

Obviously had been cleaned after last guest but not checked before we arrived. There were old pieces of food in the sink and fridge on arrival. The shower in the master bedroom didn't drain while in use, which made it very slippy when trying to get out. Complementary Milk which was a lovely touch but went out of date the day we arrived. No dish cloth in the kitchen. The house could use a little tlc. We enjoyed our stay but I was a little disappointed because of the above issues and yes I could of phoned to raise these point but it was Christmas.

  • "Fantastic property, so relaxing watching the tide rise and fall and the delights of the wildlife."

Only down point was the toaster as only two of the four slicer racks worked so this ideally needs replacing. Nevertheless I’m in the process of rebooking for next summer!

  • "On our last night at egret cottage we found lots of black insects on our white duvet cover on the king size bed."

As we went to touch them they appeared to jump. We had no choice but to sleep in the bed that night. We had a really bad nights sleep. In the morning we found the shower tray covered with them .We removed the shower tray plug to wash them away and it was disgusting . The cups in the cupboard were left dirty. there was dust on the headboard. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness .We expected extra care to have been taken because of Covid 19.

  • "We throughly enjoyed our week in Egret, a lovely house in a picturesque location."

Sitting on the balcony enjoying a drink and watching the tide ebb and flow was relaxing. We found it was ideally located to visit some of the beautiful coves and beaches in the area, combined with fantastic views along the coastal path walks. We would love to return in the future.

  • "The only thing that slightly let you down was the standard of cleaning although the bedding etc was spotless I don’t feel that the cleaning company ever moved furniture whilst cleaning and with your property being dog friendly & as a dog owner I feel this is if the upmost importance."

Not a reflection on the actual owners at all, and we had a fantastic stay & would definitely return ☺️

Beautiful setting on the estuary. Children enjoyed fishing for first time. Would recommend this property.

  • "We were very surprised by Milford Haven having heard nothing about it."

The Harbour was full of delightful places to eat which we took full advantage of. The food and presentation were perfect. This part of Wales has lots to offer the beautiful beaches are not far away and Tenby and Saundersfoot only a few miles by car. The house and view was perfect for bird watching with the tides twice a day.The only downside to the holiday was for anybody with trouble walking I found it steep leaving the house and no hand rail which would have come in handy for children as well also some of the beaches had steep access to them. But these did not stop us enjoying the holiday and the lovely house. Also Blackbridge had a couple of nice takeaways Chinese and chip shop

  • "The area is beautiful."

Cottage was spectacular, but not as clean as it could have been. Rust on soap dishes, dirty tiles in kitchen and broken dustbin to name a few. Would return though, more for the views out onto the estuary and the peace and quiet.

  • "On arrival everything looked fine, on closer inspection, the over all cleanliness of the place was not as good as first appeared."

For example, there was a stained sheet and pillowcase on two of the beds, no spare tea towels, or toilet rolls, no washing up liquid. The description of the location sounds better than the reality.

The accommodation was truly first class and exceeded our expectations a real home from home. Clean spacious and well equipped in a fantastic quiet yet not remote location. Its a great location to use as a base to explore Pembrokeshire. We went with our energetic Cocker Spaniel who loved his morning and evening walks in the bluebell wood 200 meters away together with his daily swims in the water straight from the cottage steps. We drove from Northumberland and every mile there and back was worth it to enjoy this fabulous accommodation. We will be back again.

  • "We booked this holiday because we had a dog."

We would have liked a property with a small enclosed garden, though a minor point, this property didn’t. Though a few paces away their were appropriate areas. The property was excellent with little to fault it. For info, the electric shower in the master ensuite had a poor flow on warm/hot showers. The other ensuite shower had a terrific flow but no pressure control. It was a refreshing shower but verging on to hard. But the bottom line is a lovely bright clean and comfortable property and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

  • "When we arrived at the cottage, we had fairly high expectations formed by the photos, the description, and it was an expensive cottage."

We were not disappointed as the cottage was immaculate, well equipped, in a great location and everything worked. It was exactly as described. The accommodation layout suited our family perfectly and it was a very spacious cottage. There were some nice touches when we arrived such as tea, coffee, milk in the fridge, welsh cakes, and enough cleaning products and materials for the week. There were local information leaflets for things to do and there were also advice notes on local pubs and attractions left by previous occupants. Overall, a great cottage and we will be back.

Milford Haven however, depending on your holiday requirements it just wasn't for us. It was a very very quiet little town with very little to do for families with young children. The next time we visit we would look at staying much closer to Tenby.
