  • "The picture of the outside of the property listed on your site was totally inaccurate."

    The impression given is that the property consisted of the building to the right of the left hand fence, however the holiday let was to the left of the front door. On entering there was a passage way on the left of which was the main window which had a wooden fence all the way along (about 2ft away from the window) obscuring any view. On the right was the lounge and kitchen. The kitchen though adequately equipped, had no external window - the frosted window could only be opened a few inches as it opened into what we assumed was either a passage way or conservatory belonging to the main building. Although there was an extractor fan this meant there was no ventilation. This was also the case in the bathroom. The window in the main bedroom also looked out at the fence. On a positive note we found the bed very comfortable. There was a window in the adjoining bedroom but the view again was restricted by a fence. We found the whole let to be claustrophobic. There was a distinct lack of ventilation. We were told that due to COVID there would be no bedding (which was fine as we brought our own) but we would be provided with 2 sets of towels each which would include a bath towel, hand towel and face cloth. In the event only one set each was provided. We were told that we would be provided with 2 toilet rolls, on arrival we found half a used roll (although the owner did leave us a fresh roll the following day along with a bottle of wine and a box of [out of date] chocolates. We were also advised that, because of COVID, we would have to bring our own cleaning materials, although hand sanitiser, fresh bars of soap etc would be provided. Any left over products from the previous occupiers would be removed. In the event we found a antibacterial soap in the bathroom, a half bottle of washing up liquid in the kitchen and kitchen roll - these should not have there. There were also cushions on the lounge furniture which we were told would not be there. The cleanliness overall was not up to the standard we expected. On the 2 occasions we tried to watch the tv we found the picture quality very poor as it kept freezing and breaking up. Overall very disappointing, never to be repeated and surprised, given your reputation, you apparently allow such misleading images of the property to be used. On the whole we found the holiday let very disappointing, we would certainly not use this again All in all we

  • "The property was quiet and cosy just what we hoped it would be."

    Phil the owner had left wine and chocolates which were very much appreciated, and came the following day to introduce himself and tell us a little about the area he also left his mobile number just in case we should need to contact him. The property was ideally situated on the outskirts of Saundersfoot (just 5 mins by car to the resort centre). Not having been to this area before we were completely taken with it's charm and tranquillity, beach was lovely and shops individually owned no chain stores here, just 15 mins away was Tenby for those who wanted a larger shopping area. St David's and Haverford West also within easy reach. Saundersfoot and Crestville was a lovely place to spend a restful holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed and fully intend to revisit.

  • "A great place to stay as a base for exploring Pembrokeshire."

    The accommodation is situated near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, so sitting out the front in the evening was very private. It was spotlessly clean, with Phil, the owner, taking great care with sanitisation due to Covid. Phil was very friendly and would stop and chat, letting us know where the good places are to visit. A well appointed kitchen with a good array of cookware. Comfy bed and spacious storage. Easy parking on the drive as well! Very close to the historic town of Tenby and the harbour rows of Saundersfoot.
