  • "Beautifully converted and comfortable outhouse in a rural setting great for the dogs."

Perfect for walking and exploring the Pembrokeshire Coastline. Highly recommended.

  • "Lovely spacious cottage for 2 people."

It would have been nice to have had more than 2 mugs and 1 cup. There were far too many glasses in comparison. Having to wash up the mugs every time we used them was wasteful of hot water. Also the toilet seems to be constantly running water through. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and it’s location.

  • "We loved the cottage and location as it was quiet with beautiful views."

The surrounding area was just right for us as we like to travel daily to visit different places. It was ideal for our dog Willow, as they had an enclosed garden. The owners where very nice and made sure that we had everything we needed, also provided clean linen and towels as we stayed for 2 weeks.

It was exceptionally quiet and relaxing. The owners live next door and were the perfect hosts. Friendly, efficient but not interfering. The cottage had everything we needed including Internet. Excellent enclosed garden for the dogs.

  • "This was a lovely, dog friendly cottage and we had a great, relaxing stay."

Communication with the owners was easy and quick, the enclosed garden and walks from the door were brilliant for our dogs, the location is easy to find and get to and perfect for visiting our favourite places (the Preselli Hills, Newport, St.Davids, Cardigan, Marlow's, Stackpole etc etc). Felt very private despite being next door to the main house. Good facilities in kitchen and nice to have Freeview. Would definitely return.

  • "This was our second visit to this location and after our first visit decided to book the cottage for New Year's Eve & New Year's Day."

Love the location and this cosy cottage, which felt even more cozy with the wood burner warming the living room and kitchen area. Warm, friendly & inviting with plenty of fields to walk the dog right on your doorstep! Fantastic, loved it!

  • "A wonderful and cosy cottage in the pembrokeshire hills."

Decorated beutifully yet in keeping with a country cottage feel. Wood available for the log burner at no extra cost, a decent area for our 2 dogs to stretch their legs. Stunning views across the countryside, and within easy driving distances of all the recommended areas to visit. Would definitely recommend this cottage for a cosy retreat!

  • "The cottage is set in a beautiful location with outstanding views across the countryside."

Whilst it is only a one bedroom property it is a lovely, spacious living environment and we both felt really at home there. The owners are a lovely couple who really care about your needs and we thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay (admittedly the weather was a significant factor). We highly recommend this cottage and will doubtless be returning sometime in the future.

  • "The cottage was perfect."

Very easy to find and in an area close to several attractions. Local facilities were very good with various options to eat out or self cater. The only thing which would have made it a perfect stay would have been a small welcome package including things like fresh milk and maybe something traditional like bara brith. If we were in the area again we would definitely stay at Ysgol Hill.

Good for walking in the Preseli Hills, visiting Newport, St David’s and Fishguard, beaches and countryside. Very nice traditional cottage with all modern conveniences. Owners very helpful and dog-friendly. Would recommend a visit any time.

  • "A very nice cottage for two people."

It is in a very rural location but well placed for local walks, beaches, towns etc. The cottage itself is rustic but has all the amenities you need for a relaxing break. Even though we went in August some of the nights were quite chilly so we did fire up the log burning stove a few times. The owner was very friendly and lives close by if you have any problems. We went for Sunday lunch in the local pub the Tafern Sinc. The food was very good but the service was a bit erratic and quite slow. The beer was excellent though while you were waiting.
