“I was told the week due to go that there was no WiFi but a dongle could be supplied free of charge (owner would supply), I said "yes" and asked for instructions on how to use.”

However, there were 2 items which could have been the dongle, but I did not know which was which. One had no USB to plug in so presumed that was not it. The other was a BT box which I could plug into, had lots of flashing lights which never stopped and when I plugged in remained the same. So for the week we were there was no WiFi whatsoever, more importantly there was no service to my mobile phone either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...

The rubbish in the bin outside (plus a "Bottle Box" which contained bottles and other rubbish) looked like they had not been emptied for a month. But my husband dutifully carried this rubbish out through apartment and onto road as told in manual) - even though none was ours. Then the lady from above flat (resident) appeared and said we had wrong coloured bags which would not be taken, wrong collection for some items as only taken fortnightly (how are we supposed to know as date not indicated) and that seagulls would attack rubbish which they did, also Bottle Box was wrong. So all was carried into our garden again (lady took two 2 bags to put in with hers to help us out). She said she would contact owner. Also 2 lights in kitchen required bulbs (in time this became 3 out of the 8). I rang the contact number - nothing for over a day and a half. Missed her return call where she waffled on about being at a conference but would arrange for her maintenance guy to fix lights (never happened), I dutifully called back as requested. She never contacted me back, never fixed lights or answered questions on dongle. Nor did she speak of rubbish problem which lady above had also phoned to complain about. Apartment on surface seemed clean. However, for example, the bathroom required a little more attention as sink taps had build up of limescale, and the garden needed a good sweep as surrounded by trees. That said the apartment was well located, nicely furnished and large with all the amenities we required.
