“Customers need to be aware that there is a public bar in the basement of this building.”

Fortunately it was closed during our visit (due to Covid-19 restrictions). Had it been open, the potential noise from late night revellers/drinkers and loud clubbing music could have ruined the holiday for us. The decor of the property is tired/worn and overall in need of redecoration/refurbishment. This is particularly apparent on entry to the building where the front door to the apartment is a poor fit in its frame and difficult to open. Lighting in the bedrooms is particularly poor - to the extent that it was difficult to see items when unpacking after arrival in the evening. Additionally, it is not possible to lie in bed and read a book. We were very grateful for the parking permit - indeed we would probably not have booked the property had it not been available. However, clearer parking instructions need to be provided, as the permit is not valid in all Saundersfoot car parks. The 0900hrs checkout time is far too early. It essentially requires a 0500hrs start to get a family of 4 up, washed, breakfasted, packed and loaded into the car.
