  • "On approaching the bungalow we were pleased to see homes well maintained and smart until we reached our stay which was immediate let down."

The outside is shabby and the garden unkempt so it didn’t bode well. Cheap and tasty chairs faced us. The bungalow is well positioned for the beautiful view but look inwards and you find tired decoration, unpainted ceilings and basic fixtures and fittings. The sofa and chairs had no cushioning left in them - pillows used to cushion them out more. No way of parking next to the bungalow due to the owners boat and the driveway slippery when wet. Balcony and patio furniture tatty and no access to back garden as gate locked. Saundersfoot and area is beautiful, the property is cheaply maintained but utilitarian.

  • "The property was exactly as described on the website."

The view from the lounge and kitchen was stunning, especially the sunrise! The drive is very steep as are the steps up to the back door. Nice walk into Saundersfoot. A blind in the kitchen would have been good because you just can’t look out of the window in a morning when the sun is bright. The property was clean and adequately equipped. We would definitely stay again.

  • "Yes we had a good week."

The view marvellous but felt the owner should have done some decorating during the quiet period - ceiling cracks and some walls definitely needed a coat of paint. The terrace was very poor - furniture very old and shabby and the surrounding outside walls very dirty and the floor material cracking. I am sorry to be honest but it was certainly not home from home and feel the owner really needs to upgrade the property. Helen Atkinson

5 minute walk down to the seafront through a quiet lane. All commodities needed. We stayed in February and the heating made the house cosy and warm.

Every facility catered for, spotlessly clean, ideal situation to drive and visit Tenby, Pembroke, Kidwelly, Manorbier, St Davids, Laugharne and Llansteffan, all superb places to visit. easy to walk down into Saundersfoot, a bit harder to walk back up! Fully recommended and will certainly return in the future

  • "We have just had a long weekend at Geld-y-mor, enhanced by the wonderful, warm weather!"

We found the bungalow very clean, comfortable and the view from the sitting room and balcony were wonderful. Saundersfoot and a coastal path looked to be within a 15 minutes walk, although that wasn't possible for us due to mobility. Despite that we were pleased to find quick and easy access to the lovely beaches and countryside.

Also a list of where things are (hoover, clothes drier etc) and a fan for the bedroom as it was a bit warm in there but these are really minor nit picks.

  • "We booked this cottage on a whim and it was so worth it."

Absolutely stunning views, great location and beautiful property. The cute little cottage is cosy, quiet and just delightful feels like a home away from home. It has all of the essentials and more, lots of cute little quirks and personal touches to make you feel welcome and to settle in. The only complaint I have is that it was fully booked for the next few months and we were eager to come back with the kids!

  • "We enjoyed our holiday in spite of poor weather."

The bungalow was comfortable and its outstanding feature is the view from both balcony and sitting room. The bungalow is at the top of a very steep hill and is not really suitable for people with mobility issues. We found Saundersfoot itself exceptionally busy with long queues for shops and restaurants and no available parking. The Co-op in Kilgetty is useful for supplies and has a large free carpark. The nearby coastal walks going west towards Tenby are steep and challenging.

  • "The sea view from this cottage was absolutely beautiful and we never tired of it."

The cottage was the perfect size for two fully mobile adults and the kitchen was very well equipped. The balcony is the place to sit on hot summer days or nights. On chilly evenings you can sit indoors and still admire the stunning view from the lounge or kitchen. It’s not far to walk down into the pretty seaside town of Saundersfoot although it is a very steep walk back up. Parking is limited in the village. The beach is sandy and very beautiful. Boat trips are offered from the pretty harbour. Saundersfoot has plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs as well as gift shops, a small Tesco and Spar and a Butcher that sells Welsh meat. However, Saundersfoot has not yet been spoiled by over development. Larger supermarkets Asda, Tesco and Lidl are a short drive away at Pembroke Dock. For serious walkers only, the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is easily accessed. BE AWARE, the walk along the path to Tenby is VERY steep and rugged. It is totally unsuitable for the unfit or young children in pushchairs. Sensible footwear should be worn. There are lots of other walks to do that are less rugged and plenty of information is available either in the property or from the Tourist Office in Saundersfoot. The cottage is in a stunning area of Wales and I can highly recommend it for a wonderful holiday. We loved it all.
