  • “The sea view from this cottage was absolutely beautiful and we never tired of it.”

The cottage was the perfect size for two fully mobile adults and the kitchen was very well equipped. The balcony is the place to sit on hot summer days or nights. The cottage was the perfect size for two fully mobile adults and the kitchen was very well equipped. The balcony is the place to sit on hot summer days or nights. On chilly evenings you can sit indoors and still admire the stunning view from the lounge or kitchen. It’s not far to walk down into the pretty seaside town of Saundersfoot although it is a very steep walk back up. Parking is limited in the village. The beach is sandy and very beautiful. Boat trips are offered from the pretty harbour. Saundersfoot has plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs as well as gift shops, a small Tesco and Spar and a Butcher that sells Welsh meat. However, Saundersfoot has not yet been spoiled by over development. Larger supermarkets Asda, Tesco and Lidl are a short drive away at Pembroke Dock. For serious walkers only, the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is easily accessed. BE AWARE, the walk along the path to Tenby is VERY steep and rugged. It is totally unsuitable for the unfit or young children in pushchairs. Sensible footwear should be worn. There are lots of other walks to do that are less rugged and plenty of information is available either in the property or from the Tourist Office in Saundersfoot. The cottage is in a stunning area of Wales and I can highly recommend it for a wonderful holiday. We loved it all.

The property

This light and airy detached Saundersfoot cottage boasts breathtaking views over the glistening bay, and features two lovely bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a cosy sitting room with patio doors onto a lovely balcony for alfresco dining.

Situated on a hill above the village in a quiet cul-de-sac, this welcoming Saundersfoot cottage is perfectly located to enjoy fun-packed days in this beautiful part of Wales.

Stay in Saundersfoot with its fabulous harbour, sandy beach and a variety of shops, pubs and eating places or venture to nearby Tenby with more sandy beaches and boat trips to Caldey Island.

The 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path beckons walkers all year round, while the less energetic can enjoy peaceful days in complete natural beauty at Broad Haven or Barafundle.

Fun-packed days at Folly Farm, the Dinosaur Park and the thrills and spills of the largest theme park in Wales at Oakwood are all close by.

Whether it's a relaxing beach holiday, an invigorating walking holiday, a family fun holiday or an exploration of Welsh history, this is the perfect Saundersfoot cottage, all year round.
