“Property was generally in good order though not as clean as we expected.”

The towel rail and floor in the bathroom did not look as though they had been cleaned. The towel rail and floor in the bathroom did not look as though they had been cleaned. The front bedroom could have been dusted more thoroughly - the bedside cabinets could have benefitted from a bit of a sweep round the bottom edges. The porch and front bedroom smelt damp with small patches of mildew on window frames. Dishcloths and tea towels were in short supply, one tea cloth not enough for one week. The dishwasher had a dreadful smell when first used, but guess it hadn't been used in a while and was OK after use. A cruet would have been useful as would non stick pots and pans. However on the whole a good supply of crockery. There were plenty of towels and lots of wardrobe and drawer space. The sitting room and dining rooms were very nice with comfy sofas and good dining set and the outside patio area was also very nice, again with comfy furniture. On the whole we were satisfied with the property - brilliantly located for town, but those little extra touches would have made it very nice indeed.
