"Pinewood is a beautiful roomy place to stay."
The views must be spectacular in the summer. The garden is nice if a little steep but is negotiable via the gravel/shingle path. We were 2 couples and two dogs staying and there was lots of room to sit together or separately if you wished. Plenty of crockery and cutlery, good selection of cooking equipment along with a 50:50 fridge freezer. Lovely kitchen with plenty of storage. Parking for 3 cars but the lane is narrow. So take your time getting in and out. My only comment would be the lack of toilet tissue and hand soap in the bathroom, so take some with you, rather than unpack your car and then having to pop out to get these essentials. The mop was absent so I couldn’t mop through which I would have preferred to do as the weather wasn’t brilliant and with 4 adults and two lively dogs there were footprints on the wood flooring, but I let the owner know as he had emailed me direct and was fine with this. Beds were comfortable and it was nice and warm to come back to after a blustery run with the dogs on the beach.
"A lovely property very well situated to walk into Saundersfoot and to the beach."
"The house is in a great location only a short walk to the beautiful beach."
Very well appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need, including free pods for the coffee machine! Very clean throughout, brand new bathroom with what seemed like endless hot water (we were a party of 6 adults). Very comfortable beds. Lots of great information in the book about local things to do and plenty of board games in case it rains (we were there for Christmas and it rained constantly). Would thoroughly recommend - thanks Al and Alexis!
"A faultless and wonderful place to stay."

"Lovely stay quiet location ideal for a peaceful getaway."
"What a beautiful property, so clean and comfortable, with a homely feel."
It was well equipped with everything we needed and plenty of storage and space . Well situated for getting out and about , the hill back up was hard work but we got used to it by the end of the week . We had a lovely holiday. Thank you

"July 2023 - we have just had a splendid week at Pinewood, clean, comfortable and everything to make our stay memorable."
Easy to get to Saundersfoot and Tenby and parking fees were reasonable. Great walks for dog owners, just across the road, forest walks and a path to the Glen beach, marvellous, our dog had a wonderful time. We also did the walk to Wiseman's Bridge which was easy and manageable-five stars from us, thank you.
Thank your very much for your feedback, we really appreciate your comments, and we’re pleased that you (and your dog) had such a great week. Property Owner

"Had a great week at Pinewood, the house is excellent, clean , equipped with everything you need and the garden was perfect for us and more importantly Alfie our Labradoodle, plenty space for him to run round and explore."
Patio set and sunloungers provided, overall one of our best holidays and hope to book again very soon
Thank you so much for the feedback, it sounds like you really got the Pinewood vibe! We’re delighted that you and Alfie enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
"Pinewood is a gorgeous cottage in a wonderful location."
It is well maintained and very clean, comfortable and spacious inside with a beautiful garden outside. I was a bit concerned about the garden not being ‘fully enclosed ‘ and have chatted to the owner about this, but it didn’t by any means spoil our stay here. We have two mad escaping spaniels and they will find the smallest gap in a hedge so we did keep them on their leads when we sat outside. Parking is tight at the front of the property but we parked at the back of the cottage where there is space for two cars and it’s much easier to get in and out. We found we hardly used the car all week because the location is ideal for walking to Saundersfoot, Wiseman’s Bridge, Amroth, Tenby and beyond and you can always catch the bus back if you need it! There is also a lovely wooded path down to Glen Beach, which is dog friendly, and where you can stroll along to Monkstone Beach at the tip of the headland when the tide is low. We have had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Pinewood and would happily return in the future.
Thank you so much for your feedback, we really appreciate it. We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay and very much hope that you'll have the opportunity to return in the future. Property Owner
"We had a lovely week with our Springer Spaniel Charlie staying at Pinewood in Saundersfoot."
The garden was lovely and the property spotless. It was quite a steep walk up the hill back to Pinewood which we were OK with but maybe not for someone with walking difficulties although there was a bus stop not far from the property.
Many thanks for your feedback, we're glad you enjoyed your stay. The walk up St Bride's Lane is certainly on the steep side, though I've found it easier going up Broadfield Hill, the road that overlooks the harbour and goes past St Bride's Hotel. As you say the bus stop is just across the road from the house, so that's always an option. Property Owner
"It should be stated that you need a university degree in reversing to get out of the front of the cottage, Couldn't find any instructions for the coffee maker, it was totally different from our own, lovely cottage for a break."
Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad that you enjoyed your break. We will definitely find some instructions for the Nespresso machine. The parking area outside the front of the house is small, I admit, but there is the large gravel parking area by the garden, for the exclusive use of Pinewood guests. This is useful for larger cars. "What a beautiful and comfortable cottage."
Extremely clean and well maintained property - there wasn’t a room that disappointed. We’d definitely look to rebook if visiting the area.

"Property was not cleaned till 7pm on day of arrival."
Rubbish left by bin. Had to buy our own loo rolls. No response to my email to you regarding suitable compensation. Property itself was good and as described but the start and lack of response has obviously affected our view of the stay.
We'd like to apologise again for the disruption the start of your stay. Arriving at a property that has not been cleaned is obviously very disappointing. As you know, this was due to the previous guests getting confused about their departure date, which then led to a delay in the cleaning. The owner of the cleaning company visited you to apologise, offered a small gift of a bottle of wine, then completed the cleaning and restocking within a few hours. Our understanding is that the rest of your stay went well (but perhaps not the Pembrokeshire weather...), and we appreciated the positive personal feedback you sent us via txt. Property Owner
"We had fantastic time here, the place was very spacious and well equipped."
The garden was perfect for Sasha our furry friend. We even stayed an extra night. Short walk into town, bit hilly on the way back or you can grab a taxi for £4/5. Nice pubs etc.We would definitely stay again.
Many thanks for your feedback, it is much appreciated. Property Owner
