  • "- great location in town and flat very quiet in an evening."

    - overall property would benefit from some TLC although we were comfortable and fine for the price. Would question whether it meets the Sykes rating. - sofas in the living room are broken and possibly dangerous given the “lazy boy” style. - blinds in various rooms in poor condition- this has been commented on by lots of other guests but doesn’t appear to have been addressed. - welcome pack doesn’t contain useful information such as WiFi details and where to put rubbish. - kitchen worktops felt “sticky” - all in all the flat is fine for the price point.

  • "A beautiful property near all amenities."

Wonderful views of the ocean. Owner left us wine and chocolates! Plenty of pubs/restaurants yards away! Warm and cosy. Tastefully decorated. Our party of 7 friends loved it.

Thankyou for your kind comments - it’s nice to hear Property Owner

  • "Lovely location."

Beds comfortable with good bedding and towels. Lounge comfortable. We booked an apartment with a walk in shower as one of us has a mobility issue but the drain was blocked and did not let water run away very well. Shower head was also broken. Dishwasher was full of pots which had been cleaned but frying pan not clean and had to be washed. Unfortunately a cup and knife got broken, happy to pay for replacements.

The property

This attractive first-floor apartment sits in the heart of Tenby town centre, just a short walk from a range of amenities.

Offering sea views from the bedrooms, Gower View offers an excellent abode for up to seven guests.

Take a communal flight of stairs up to reach the first-floor before stepping into your new home-from-home.

To the right, down a few steps sits the kitchen/diner, housing a double cooker and oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer, so you are fully appointed for home-cooking.

Serve the fruits of your labour at the dining table before retreating to the spacious lounge, complete with two sofas, a stunning fireplace, TV and views into historic Tudor Square.

Begin your nightly routine in either the bathroom or shower room, whether it be a lazy soak or refreshing rinse.

The master houses a king-size bed with beach and sea views, whilst there is also a twin with sea views, a double and a single, making it ideal for a family group.

When you’re ready to explore, Tenby makes a fantastic holiday base, based within the historic town walls with the Tudor Merchant’s House, literally just around the corner.

Spend a sunny afternoon on the goldens sands of Tenby's two beaches that become four at high tide.

Then treat the group to dinner and drinks at a wide range of excellent local restaurants in and around the town centre.

Discover the delights of Pembroke, including its Castle that witnessed the birth of King Henry VII and his Tudor Dynasty, as well as the equally impressive castles at nearby Carew and Manorbier.

For the young at heart, a short drive will take you to Heatherton World of Activities, Manor Wildlife Park, the Dinosaur Park and Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo.

The walkers of the group can meanwhile indulge themselves along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path or for a hike, head north into the mythical Preseli Hills for breathtaking views.

Choose Gower View for a wonderful Pembrokeshire break in Tenby.

About the location

TENBY

Pembroke 11 miles; Carmarthen 26 miles.

The bustling seaside resort of Tenby, known within Wales as “The Jewel in the Crown", is majestically positioned on the spectacularly beautiful 'Welsh Riviera'. Tenby is part of the stunning 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park where the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the county is one of the sunniest places in the UK. Enclosed by medieval walls, this beautiful town features a maze of cobbled streets, hosting an array of quirky shops, indoor locally-sourced food market, tea rooms and tempting restaurants. Almost three miles of stunning, Blue Flag-awarded beaches provide a variety of watersports, whilst walkers and cyclists can enjoy the local flora and fauna on the coastal paths, something the competitors of the world-renowned Tenby Iron-Man contest (held in mid-September) haven’t time for! A boat trip to Caldey Island is recommended to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the monastery and island scenery, and you can enjoy seal and puffin sightings en-route! Explore the magnificent Tudor Merchant's House, or visit the nearby resorts of Saundersfoot or Manobier. For teens and younger visitors, Oakwood Theme Park provides a brilliant, fun-filled day out whilst Folly Farm offers everything from old-fashioned fairground rides to animals both local and exotic! The perfect location for an enjoyable and varied holiday.
