  • "Lovely apartment."

Great location. The toilet leak was resolved in good time, but we still avoided using the en suite. However, the replacement toilet seats on each system didn't fit making it difficult.

Very well equipped. Great views and very convenient for shops and other town centre facilities including three beaches within walking distance. It can be a bit noisy on the ground floor due to main road but the bedrooms are very quiet. Overall, very impressed and I would stay there again.

Thank you for the very positive feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to you staying again. Property Owner

  • "Property is overall very pleasant with a good location but there some plumbing issues that despite being mentioned in June nothing to fix them as been done."

Both showers are really hard to turn off/on but the one in the main bathroom is the worst so we couldn't use it at all. En-suite basin hot tap is dripping constantly and again will not turn on or off. Main bed was an issue for us as much smaller than we expected so it meant bad nights sleep, couldn't use the other bedroom as the smell of musty and damp was over powering. The outside patio area was in a sorry state which lots of weeds so we didn't use it either.

We are sorry that some aspects of your stay were not up to your expectations. Plumbing, we did have a plumber attend to address the shower issue in June and we’re again alerted to the issues in early September. Due to occupancy rates and contractor availability the showers have been replaced this week which is the first opportunity we have had to have major work undertaken this season. The bed in the main bedroom is Kingsize, we would struggle to get anything bigger in the room comfortably. We have asked the cleaner to looking into the musty smell. The yards are maintained, but we are intending to remodel the patio areas for next season. Property Owner

  • "Amazing property in a fabulous location, literally opposite the beach."

The parking was approx 5 mins walk away but we parked outside briefly to unload/load. Like home from home with everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable. Two minutes walk away are lots of shops, bars and restaurants. There is a communal hallway at the property, we followed the notice on the door about locking up when leaving, don’t think the owners upstairs got the same memo as they took the sign off the door and unlocked the outside door when we locked it, could’ve been petty but let it go!! Didn’t spoil our stay and would definitely return

  • "Superb, spacious accommodation decorated and furnished to a high standard."

The location is very central with everything within easy walking distance. The views from the cottage over North Beach are breathtaking. There are steps or a ramp down to the beach which is a few minutes walk. We had no problems with the car parking arrangements. The Car Park Permit for North Beach Car Park is provided and it’s a short, easy walk away. We always found available spaces but that might not be guaranteed in high season. We were easily able to park right outside the cottage to load / unload. However as these are double yellow lines cars must be moved. The cottage is extremely well equipped and met all our needs. 2 bathrooms, one en-suite with shower and one family bathroom plus an extra toilet off the untility area. 2 patio areas to sit in and eat al fresco if you wish. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Watched a couple of films on Disney Channel which was a nice bonus. I could not fault the accommodation in any way. We absolutely love Tenby. It’s a wonderful town and there is plenty to do. Caldey Island is a great day out. If you want to visit the Tudor Merchant House you will need to book. Thank you for such a wonderful week, we had a fantastic time.

Great position on the seafront. Unfortunately the scaffolding was still at the front when we arrived which was a bit disappointing, but the painter advised us that there had been a problem causing the delay. It was quite cold downstairs at night in the twin room otherwise a very comfortable stay. We very much enjoyed a little bit of Italy at the very good Florentinos Restaurant nearby. Thankyou

  • "Had a lovely holiday in Tenby - weather fantastic - location of holiday home perfect for access to the North beach and town."

Just have to be mindful that you are below other residents as early on in the week those above were very considerate whereas those at the latter end if our holiday not so considerate - quite rowdy and consistently left the front door unlocked (not great) as lots of people pass by the property - left us feeling a little anxious at times. Otherwise we had a super time as expected.

  • "Generally loved the property and it’s location, would recommend for a couple."

There’s steps leading to the beach just across the road from the house, and it’s only a minute’s walk to the right before you’re at the start of the main shops/restaurants/pubs, so super convenient! There is a permit for the car park, which is a 7 minute walk away. We had no problems stopping the car outside the house to unload and load. There is a Tesco express a short walk away and we were impressed with many of the local restaurants. The only things we could fault (why we gave 4 stars) were when you’re in the bedroom you can hear the neighbours when they are using the stairs which can be quite loud somehow, and the rooms in the basement smell a little musty/damp. For the latter, I guess that’s to be expected as it’s a basement with limited ventilation, but it was a little unpleasant. Even with the french doors open in the master bedroom whenever we were in the house to try help ventilate. (The twin bedroom was worse so I’m quite glad we hadn’t invited anyone else to join us on this trip!) Apart from that, it was lovely and it wouldn’t stop us coming back again to be fair.

  • "A lovely comfortable stay at this spacious and well appointed apartment."

The property was really well equipped and all furniture, fixtures and fittings were of high quality and in working order. Lots of fridge and freezer space and large washing machine and dryer. The location could not have been better for us. Immediately on the beach front and short distance from the town centre. We really enjoyed sea swimming and exploring the local area on our bikes. Lots of storage areas and drying facilities. The apartment was warm and cosy. The clean was on the whole really good, except there were crums on the carpet at the front part of the lounge and underneath the settee, causing us to have to hoover it up when we arrived. The front blinds were not working properly and we had to fix them before they would drop. Bed linen, towels and tea towels were clean and smelt really fresh. Bathroom areas were immaculate with plenty of storage spaces and replacement towels and toilet rolls when needed. We would highly recommend this property would most certainly consider visiting it again should we return to Tenby.

  • "Tenby and Pembrokeshire is an area I have been coming to periodically since I was a child in the 1950's."

The cottage is in a beautiful location, 200 yards from the town and 50 yards from the steps to the beach. The cottage has everything one needs for a holiday let and there are many simple touches left for the guests such as all the cooking utensils, sewing kit, boxes of basic medicines (aspirins etc). There were beach chairs and beach mats we could use and the views from the comfy sitting room across the bay are the best in the world on a sunny day and we were blessed with wall to wall sunshine for this last week! Our disappointment was the fact that the patio areas are not a nice place to use. These areas catch the evening sun but we didn't feel tempted to use them. The tables and chairs were cheap and nasty and needed to be properly scrubbed to remove the seagull mess (really filthy). With ladders propped up and generally uninviting. I think a patio/garden makeover with wooden seating with cushions etc and clever lighting could transform this quite economically. The basement rooms could benefit from this. The pandemic has led to the world and his wife descending on Tenby and Saundersfoot and every restaurant was chock a block in these unprecedented times. Luckily we had booked ahead for 4 of the nights. Many of the restaurants did not accept bookings and was a first come basis with long queues. We had a 90 minute wait for our food in the Indian but the food was very good and worth the wait. We will recommend the cottage, and of course Tenby (although we dont want to encourage others to come here!) If you want to use my comments without the negatives (hopefully constructive) OK with me
