  • "What a lovely cottage, very clean, cosy and very well equipped."

All needs were catered for from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Spa was very special. A lovely holiday experience, we loved it, thank you

  • "We had an excellent stay at Grove Cottage."

We found the location was very handy for the amazing beaches nearby and for our trip to Skomer Island. The owner was friendly and helpful and the cottage was well-equipped and comfortable. Maps and walking guides were very useful. Our only further suggestion would be to include a larger cafetière in the kitchen.

It had everything we needed and some more as a hot tub has recently been added (unfortunately weather a bit too cold for us to risk a dip) Louise was very helpful and easy to contact. The local pub was very friendly and the Sunday roast was tasty.

  • "Everything in the cottage was perfect, it was comfortable and well equipped."

This cottage was one of the best we have stayed in. The only disappointment was the pub at the end of the road has been shut for two years yet still advertised on the Sykes information. This was where we would have eaten out most evenings rather than using the car as the roads are mostly single track.

Thank you so much for your feedback and I am thrilled you thought the cottage was equipped and comfy, thank you for the terrific cleanliness and comfort scores. The pub did close for a while but reopened as of July 2022 and I'm sorry that it wasn't clear at the time you booked and wasn't open for your stay. It us now under new management and serving daily. Need to drive to all amenities but you can walk to the garden centre, sports and social club, coastal path. Great location for driving to Little Haven and others which are lovely

Would highly recommend this property. Only downside was when we booked in February 21, the details stated a pub in the village, which would have been great for a few drinks and food. However the pub had been closed since July 20! But as previously stated, great house.

Patio was lovely when we had the chance to enjoy the sunshine. The village & residents we found to be very friendly, with great access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal path. The only downside was the pub which had been closed since July 2020 which we were not made aware of and we couldn’t find a shop that was 3 miles away??

Very nice modern kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Having the two bathrooms was useful. Location is excellent for walking and visiting towns with some very good restaurants near by. Would recommend staying at Grove Cottage and would stay again if visiting the area.

Great patio area which had the sun most of the day. The low ceilings by the windows upstairs may be a problem for tall people. We had perfect weather and the coastal footpath is a 10 minute walk away so absolute paradise for us.

welsh cakes, also some sugar tea and coffee so you could make a cuppa before you unpacked. I would highly recommend this cottage but you do need a car to get about the roads are very narrow but there are plenty of places for others to pass even tractors. the nearest bay is at Dale it is a lovely beach and has a great cafe (you can also take your dog in} the food is delicious . the only draw back was we couldn't let our dog on the beach and he loves the sea. .but Broad Haven beach you can take them on which we were glad of Have a great holiday .

  • "The location ws extremely disappointing."

No views, a small village with too many houses in close proximity and no facilities. Newly built house which was fairly comfortable, but cutlery, decor and general ambience was disappointing. No decor , lacking in sophistication. Would not return.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you had not had the stay you expected. We are confident that the photos accurately show the decor and ambience of the cottage, which is minimal but modern and fresh. All kitchen cutlery, utensils etc are provided and are more than adequate for the convenience of our guests. The cottage is situated in a lovely peaceful village, with a village pub, and a tea room and not far from the coastal path, just how it is described in the description. Property Owner

Perfect for our dog. We have teenagers and it's a bit too quiet for them! Good base for the exploring that part of the coast and found some lovely beaches.
