The lodge overlooks the valley and outside, you can sit and relax on the enclosed decked veranda, while the younger ones play on the lawn below, or in the nearby children’s play park.

With scenic country walks from the doorstep, why not wander as far as the beach at Wisemans Bridge, just over a mile away and on to the popular seaside resort of Saundersfoot, where you will find a selection of renowned restaurants, including The Mulberry and Coast, just yards from the shoreline.

Alternatively, take a short drive to an array of local attractions and explore this wonderful Welsh coastline.

From days relaxing on one of the array of fine sandy beaches nearby, to frantic, fun-filled days at local theme parks, this is the perfect base from which to enjoy a Welsh getaway.

Take boat trips to nearby bird islands or to the peaceful Caldey Island off Tenby where the Monks, together with a few locals, produce mouthwatering chocolate treats.

Explore castles and mills and discover the unique St Govan’s Chapel, built into the bottom of the rocks and gazing out to sea – a spectacular sight.

Wisemans Bridge is a seaside village with a pub and a lovely beach. With parking on the roadside and traffic free easy access down onto the beach you will enjoy its sandy areas, its rock pools and discovering the seaside life on its rocks. The track on an old railway line takes you through a short tunnel to the quiet beach at Coppet Hall, where another short tunnel connects with Saundersfoot making this ideal for walkers and cyclists looking for something a bit different. As well as the wonderful beaches, this beautiful area is home to an array of castles, ancient monuments and theme parks. These include Oakwood, Heatherton, the Welsh Zoo and Folly Farm. Places of interest include the Blue Lagoon and the National Trust's Stackpole and Colby Woodland Gardens. A superb choice of cycle routes and walks are just on your doorstep.
