  • "We had a great week at lodge 23."

It was fully equipped, comfortable and exactly as advertised. Many thanks to Steve the caretaker who was good enough to turn out on a Saturday evening to help us. Great service. We plan to book the lodge again.

  • "The property was all that we expected- very clean, comfortable and well equipped."

Unfortunately, both myself and my husband had a nasty cold whilst away but the accommodation couldn’t have been better as we were able to stay in and enjoy the cosy ambience. The site is close to lots of lovely beaches and attractions. We enjoyed visiting Tenby, Picton Castle and Angle. Would definitely use again

  • "The lodge was set in a beautiful site, which was immaculately maintained by the staff at heritage park."

The location was perfect for exploring the local area, close to wisemans bridge and close to amenities at kilgetty. The lodge was lovely and clean on arrival with good facilities and everything you could need. We all had a lovely week with good weather. Only a minor issue that the cupboards in the kitchen had loose hinges, something im sure that can be easily resolved. It would have been nice to see a picture of the bathroom on the website

No instructions on how things worked never used a gas cooker, TV worked but remote for Freesat wouldn't work , site very quiet and nice and close to places which was good. Another property had sewage problems and the smell was awful at times, lorry there several days understand these things happen, Steve was very kind and helpful

Thank you for your comment all instructions are in cupboard under t v also it’s a brand new gas cooker installed 3 weeks ago and instructions for that is in draw next to it !! And did meet you on arrival and did say any issues or needed to know anything number is in lodge and I’m I’m two minutes away !! It was unfortunate that drainage was being maintained at time of you holiday, as it is a five star site and like to keep on top of things but glad you enjoyed your visit and hopefully return again!! • "The lodge had everything we needed."

It was clean and comfy. Slight disappointed I must admit it was possibly one of the oldest on the site.

Thank you for your comment especially about been clean and comfortable! As it has had new furniture and carpets for this season, and will be also be keeping it up to standard for seasons to follow. It is one of the oldest lodges on the park But owners have always maintained inside and out it’s a cosy warm lodge and everyone who has stayed in there love it !! And most re-book year on year it has the largest private plot on park, and one of two lodges with two parking spaces but thanks for your feedback Property Owner

  • "The inside of the lodge was very clean and comfortable apart from having to clean the cutlery tray ,outside was disappointing the veranda was all cobwebs as were the garden chairs ,I was going to do some washing but upon looking inside the detergent drawer it was all black mould so that was instantly off putting plus were it was housed was a disgrace, the property certainly wasn’t value for money ."

Thank you for your comment! Sorry you didn’t feel it was value for money!! The lodge has been referred with new carpets, and furniture, the cobwebs was cleaned of that morning but the environment the lodge is in they soon come back especially this time of year as takes less than an hour for a new one to be made !!. Also if not happy with anything as I said in text please don’t hesitate to contact me (Steve) if not happy or wanted anything sorted I’m 2 minutes away. But thank you for comment the things you pointed out will be looked at!!! Property Owner

  • "The property is on a lovely landscaped park which was very quiet but is conveniently situated for easy access to Kilgetty, Saundersfoot and Tenby."

The property was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. We did have a problem with the top oven as it would not stay alight however the grill and main oven both lit easily. The wrap around terrace was great as there was always somewhere nice and shady to sit. The welcome pack was a nice gesture.

Thank you for your lovely comments so glad you enjoyed your stay at lodge 23 and at Heratage park sorry about top oven didn’t know it didn’t stay on !! if known I would have had engineer come look at it as he has only just done a service on it !! • "The lodge was lovely and cosy with a nice welcome pack."

Good contact from Steve who messaged us to say the lodge was ready early and we could have it immediately however we had called into Aberfan to see the memorial when he texted. If I had any criticisms it would be the TV Sky channels. If I had Sky at home (unfortunately I have Virgin) I would have brought my viewing card because there was no way to watch any Sky channels at the lodge which was disappointing. Choosing a Sky Channel and always being asked to "Insert Your Viewing Card" becomes annoying after a while! WiFi worked well so we could use our laptop ok and our phones. We had an invasion of ants in the kitchen area so Steve brought some ant powder and applied it behind the cooker. There were still some around when we left! Speaking of cookers, the oven has a fault inasmuch as it keeps clicking the igniter when in use so if cooking a dish, it's going click click click all the time! Other that what I have stated we had a very good time overall and would consider a return trip

Glad you had a good time !! In response to the sky box most lodges have them instead of freesat boxes as most people have sky and know how to use remote and better reception on them !! It gets plenty of free channels and broadband if anybody wants to watch anything else on their laptops or iPads !! Sorry about ants but dealt with it straight away A few lodges have had them it’s because we’re surrounded by plants greenery and the stream and thanks for bringing cooker to our attention it will be delt with on next clean hopefully will see you again The coxes Property Owner

About the location

KILGETTY

Cresswell Quay 2.4 miles; Saundersfoot 3 miles; Yerbeston 3.9 miles; Tenby 5 miles.

The rural village of Kilgetty is situated 2.4 miles from one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages at the edge of the tidal estuary. The central focal point is, of course, the old quay where boats can still moor, for the time the tide allows, and you may wish to pop into the Cresselly Arms for light refreshments. Just a short drive from the town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery. Also nearby is the award winning Folly Farm, which makes for a great family day out and enables you to see a working farm at its best. Oakwood Theme Park is a 10 minute drive away and boasts the biggest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, whilst the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are also within easy reach.
