There is a comprehensive folder of information in the lodge about things to do and places to visit. Located on a quiet well manicured site, so is perfect inside and out. Would highly recommend this lodge to everyone. Reviewed by GeorgeAug 2019 "This was our third stay at Heritage Park and we was not disappointed." On arrival the lodge was was very clean and tidy and smelt fresh. The lodge had everything we needed, the kitchen had more utensils and bits than we have at home :) Its in a great location on the park and a short walk to the stunning beaches. If I had one very small grumble it would just be that I found the mattress in the main bedroom a little uncomfortable. However my husband found it ok. It was a great holiday and I can guarantee will be back again next year! Reviewed by KristaJul 2019 "The accommodation was excellent - spacious, extremely well equipped and very clean and tidy." The location was convenient for visiting a variety of attractions. The site itself, next to the remains of a Victorian ironworks, was intriguing Reviewed by TonyJun 2018 "The lodge was brilliant - nicely decorated, with everything you might need." It was lovely to sit outside on the deck, listening to the river, birdsong, and bat watching in the evenings. The site is very quiet and peaceful, and the walk to Wiseman's Bridge is very pleasant. The only thing to be aware of is that the nearest shop is a fair drive away, however, tea, coffee and milk were provided so we could have a cuppa when we arrived. The lodge was a little hard to find, so maybe a map of the site might help future guests. We would definitely recommend this lodge, especially for those looking for a quiet retreat, with lovely coastal walks easily accessible.
