  • "Our family (wife, two boys and dog) had a fantastic five-day stay at The Lodge."

It's a peaceful location and the owners Sonia and David couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. The accommodation is of a high standard and includes a lovely hot tub and the grounds are extensive and provide plenty of space for dogs to enjoy. Lots to do within a few miles; highlights for us included the Swiss Valley Reservoir circular walk, Llannelli beach and Pembury Country Park. Also many friendly pubs nearby. All in all, a great holiday!

  • "Our hosts were extremely kind and accommodating, helping us with advice and guidance."

Everything about the place was nice, especially the hot tub! Would absolutely come again! What a lovely area as well!

  • "Lovely location running stream, and country views."

David and Sonia went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accomodated. Comfortable and clean accomodation, and wood fired hot tub to boot, perfect for star gazing on a clear night. Their two very friendly springer spaniels who endured the neurotic yappings of our dysfunctional Jack Russel were also a bonus, when they occasionaly visited. We had a happy stay, thank you to you both.

  • "We stayed at the lodge from the 2nd to the 9th October 2021 On arrival we was greeted by Sonia and David the owners they were both extremely welcoming they showed us round and told us how things worked."

Sonia had even sent us a txt earlier in the day to ask if we would like the hot tub fire lighting so it would be ready for when we arrived which was extremely kind of them. The lodge is set in beautiful surroundings and all you can see in every direction is stunning greenery. The lodge was clean and extremely well stocked with everything you need for your stay e.g tea towels, washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc. There is no wi fi and you also have to light a fire using wood to heat the hot tub but we knew this and didn’t mind as it was part of the adventure of our holiday It does take around 3 hours for the hot tub to heat up depending on the temperature of the water but we just got a drink and enjoyed the scenery while we was waiting for it to heat up. There are some beautiful walks around this area and lots of things to see and do within a short drive. If your looking for a relaxing stress free, forget about your troubles holiday book the lodge you will be very well looked after by Sonia and David and be surrounded by nature. Thank you so much Sonia and David for letting us stay in your caravan with such beautiful surroundings looking after us and making us feel so welcome Hopefully we will get the opportunity to visit you both again in the future. Kind regards Colin & Karen.

  • "Excellent friendly hosts, very attentive, anything we needed they were at our door with it."

Very clean caravan and comfortable seating. spacious living room and main bedroom, dressing room a great addition. Good location and local amenities, only a short drive to the beach. Only one slight disappointment was the hot tub, we like the luxury of lights and bubbles! A good suggestion is to take flip flops with you to walk across back to the lodge when you get out. A lovely few days escape, just wish we could have stayed longer.

  • "Stayed there a week in September 2021."

Absolutely lovely couple, really loved the place Sonia and David thought of everything in the lodge. It had everything in there without bringing anything and more. Lovely views, clean lodge and location remote but easily accessible to places. If I had a negative point at all (and it’s only a slight negative)it would be that the hot tub wasn’t changed and got very slimy after a few days however it is powered by a wood burner and David came and set it up and lit it every day for us which was nice. Thank you would go again definitely. Jayne and Frank

Well equipped but more importantly our hosts were so welcoming (nothing was a problem). A perfect spot away from everything but only a short drive to the beach. We would especially like to thank David and Sonia for the loan of their perfect dog 'Lolita

  • "Thé lodge, in a very peaceful location, is very clean and extremely comfortable with lovely sofa and armchair."

It is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. There is plenty of storage space both in the kitchen and main bedroom.....even a walk in wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The beds were comfortable with good bed linen but the twins were rather narrow. The owners, David and Sonia, were very helpful providing us with information about possible visits. We were the first guests and a couple of teething problems were sorted out very quickly to everyone’s satisfaction. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit . Thank you.
