The property

Flat 24, approached via a set of external steps, is a delightful ground-floor apartment nestled in the heart of Tenby, on the Pembrokeshire coast of Wales.

Inside, the owner has created a smart and warming retreat which is within walking distance of everything you could possibly need during your trip.

Be welcomed into an open-plan living space, complete with quality furnishings and a set of patio doors leading out to a small balcony area where you can let in the fresh air and pull up a chair to catch up on some reading as you watch the sun rise.

Cosy up on the large corner sofa with a bowl of popcorn and let the TV keep you entertained on those quieter evenings with a good film.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the dining table and discuss plans for the days ahead, or have a family game night here.

The kitchen has all the appliances needed for cooking up some delicious meals and plenty of worktop space for preparing.

Once the evening draws to a close, retire to one of three well-presented bedrooms, consisting of a double, twin and single; each bedroom comes well-equipped with storage space.

The family bathroom has a bath and shower over so you can choose how best to prepare for your day, before venturing outside to explore.

While you're in the area, make sure you explore all the delights Tenby has to offer, particularly its seaside location and access to a number of golden beaches.

Look forward to spending an afternoon or two at Tenby South Beach sunbathing or enjoying a relaxing swim in the shallow waters.

For a spot of history, Tenby offers a look into a number of historical attractions, including the 13th century Tenby Castle, the National Trust property of Tudor Merchant's House and Tenby Museum and Art Gallery which holds a range of displays detailing the local history of the area.

Make sure you sample some local cuisine from one of the nearby pubs/restaurants for those evenings you don't fancy cooking.

Lying on the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, there are plenty of trails for walking and cycling with superb views across the stunning coastline, particularly at the Story of Tenby guided walk.

Flat 24 is a wonderful family retreat to the coast of Wales.

About the location

TENBY

Pembroke 11 miles; Carmarthen 26 miles.

The bustling seaside resort of Tenby, known within Wales as “The Jewel in the Crown", is majestically positioned on the spectacularly beautiful 'Welsh Riviera'. Tenby is part of the stunning 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park where the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the county is one of the sunniest places in the UK. Enclosed by medieval walls, this beautiful town features a maze of cobbled streets, hosting an array of quirky shops, indoor locally-sourced food market, tea rooms and tempting restaurants. Almost three miles of stunning, Blue Flag-awarded beaches provide a variety of watersports, whilst walkers and cyclists can enjoy the local flora and fauna on the coastal paths, something the competitors of the world-renowned Tenby Iron-Man contest (held in mid-September) haven’t time for! A boat trip to Caldey Island is recommended to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the monastery and island scenery, and you can enjoy seal and puffin sightings en-route! Explore the magnificent Tudor Merchant's House, or visit the nearby resorts of Saundersfoot or Manobier. For teens and younger visitors, Oakwood Theme Park provides a brilliant, fun-filled day out whilst Folly Farm offers everything from old-fashioned fairground rides to animals both local and exotic!
