  • "Harbour Hideaway is a great place to stay to visit the lovely little town of Tenby, you can just walk a few yards into town but it is in such a peaceful location away from noise."

Also the beautiful beaches of Tenby are just short walking distance away, and staying in Tenby means you can easily visit all the other lovely parts of Pembrokeshire.

Parking by front door a bonus. Only downside was noise from flat above, due to creaking hard floor meant every footstep transmitted.

  • "We were very pleased with our stay."

There is one thing that does need looking at and that is the instructions to use the TV and getting into the streaming services. If you want Netflix you need to use your own account. A small thing but does require updating. Otherwise, we loved it and the ease with which we could get into Tenby without using the car. A BIG plus.

The property is fantastic, it’s beautifully furnished and the owners have thought to provide everything you might need. They were so helpful both before and during our stay too. It’s set in a perfect location for everything Tenby and the nearby areas have to offer. If you’re wondering whether to book, you should! You won’t regret it.

  • "The property was very nice, clean and well maintained."

The bedroom was comfortable and we slept well there. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to enjoy a couple of meals in. The location was ideal, a few minutes from Tenby harbour with plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from. We came too early in the season to go on a boat trip which we would have liked. However we enjoyed walks on the beaches and along the coast. The area had a good bus service so we never used our car.

  • "A wonderful place, in which to stay."

Modern facilities of new washing machine, fridge freezer, Cooker with hob, wide-screen TV with Roku box and an excellent shower/bathroom. The bedrooms were wonderful, although the bedclothes, felt a little damp on arrival. I was also, just a little puzzled, that with all the modern amenities, that the ironing board, failed to keep up with the other high standards. A 'childs/training' ironing board, I found inappropriate, when all of the facilities, luxurious standards, were taken into account.

It was immaculately clean as well, which was very reassuring. The apartment was ten minutes walk to the beach, and just around the corner from local shops and takeaways. Also, we were able to log in to our Netflix, Disney and prime accounts to access movie nights which was a real treat on a rainy day. We spent a lovely week here which was much needed after the stress of the pandemic and my kids had the most amazing time. So much so, that my 3yr old cried all the way home and requested we turn back around to go back to our holiday house. I would definitely return and recommend it to other people.

  • "Harbour Beach at the Hideaway is tucked away in the corner of the property."

The apartment is spotlessly clean and within a few minutes walk into Tenby. We found the allocated parking spot quite tight to manoeuvre out of as it was very close to the wall of the building which was angled. As you walk through the door there is a step down into the apartment with a bedroom on the left. Straight in front is a double bedroom with a step down and another step up into the room. (Something to think about if you need the bathroom at night!). All the rooms are bright and spacious. Around a corner and you have the large living room with the kitchen through one door and the bathroom through another. There is also a door to the outside space. All the doors are fire doors which are quite heavy to open. Also, there is a locked door in the kitchen which is linked to the apartment next door. That apartment sleeps 8 and while we were there they were having a party on the Saturday with lots of shouting, laughing, swearing and running across the floor upstairs. This went on from the afternoon until 2.30am so not a lot of sleep was had! Thankfully, they left the next morning so the rest of the week was lovely and quiet. Another thing to note is that the double bed is very soft and squeaky. If you suffer with back pain it could make it worse, we found the single beds more comfortable. From this review it sounds like we wouldn’t come here again - we would. It’s a great location with parking, lovely bright rooms, everything you need including lots of cleaning materials, cooking items, lots of plates and dishes and the shower was excellent. I would just fetch earplugs!! The owners are also very helpful should you need to contact them.

It was very clean and well furnished with everything you could possible need provided. The private garden was a bonus and was a benefit when you return after a busy day but still wish to enjoy the sunshine. The apartment is in an excellent position within walking distance of the beach and town centre. The only negative comment we have is the heating was too warm and we were unable to locate the thermostat control however the radiators had individual controls so no real issue. We will definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family and we will also return. Thank you for helping make our first trip to Tenby a great one

  • "A really nice, homely apartment."

Lounge is comfortable and bright with cream leather sofas and spot lights or separate lamps. Kitchen is very modern and spacious with a dining table. Well equipped. Master bedroom has a king sized bed and is a very spacious room. Staying in the winter months is no problem as apartment is very well heated. We walked into a warm, welcoming place. Bathroom also spacious and warm - important in cold weather! Large shower cubicle. Access to private courtyard with dining al fresco! The owners couldn't be more kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Apartment is within walking distance to town centre and Esplanade with beaches. You can leave your car safely parked and walk - a bonus in high season we imagine. Tenby is very picturesque with it's different coloured houses and quaint harbour. It's the gem of Pembrokeshire. Restaurants , cafes and pubs in the town centre. Boat trips in the summer months to Caldy Island just off the mainland. Well worth a holiday in this pleasant and attractive small town, with access to the whole of Pembs. Highly recommend both Tenby and the apartment

  • "This was our second holiday in Tenby and staying at Harbour Beach at the Hideaway."

We loved both so much last year, we immediately booked again for this year and intend to re-book for next year very soon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Harbour Beach, which is a quality and well equipped apartment. The Hideaway is very easy to access as you come into Tenby and the location is excellent, being only a few minutes walk from both the seafront, beautiful beaches and town centre. The secure off road private parking space is also a huge bonus. The apartment itself is quite secluded and private, being tucked away at the far end of the property. Harbour Beach has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable holiday, including secluded seating in the enclosed private courtyard, which is accessed from the sitting room. The apartment was very clean, which was reassuring due to Covid-19. The king-size bed in the Main bedroom was extremely comfortable and the shower very powerful. Tenby is a really beautiful and historic town. It has three excellent, clean sandy beaches, lots of lovely individual shops and plenty of excellent pubs and restaurants. There are also two local breweries, which have their own excellent pubs and tap rooms. Overall, we would highly recommend Tenby and the Harbour Beach to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful town. We can't wait to go back again next year!

  • "We stayed at The Hideaway last year at exactly the same time."

However this year in our opinion, the general condition of the property has deteriorated. It was not as clean as we would have liked. The mugs were tea stained, one was chipped. The bathroom sink was dirty and there was food left on the slate place mats in the kitchen. The oven was messy. Parking was tight when the property next to The Hideaway is occupied. Our main concern though was the level of noise above us from next door. At times it was unbearable especially in the evening, late at night and in the early hours of the morning eg. 2.30am. We did not experience these problems last year.
