The Gallery is finished to a very high standard, is incredibly comfortable, lashings of hot water for lovely showers or baths and we will be returning. 5 to 10 minute walk to town- depending how quickly you can walk up the hill. Parking.

Thank you very much for your lovely feedback, pleased you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

The hosts were on hand to answer any questions. Only negative feed back would be a folder on how to use appliances and a book to leave feedback in. We will return we had such a good week and such beautiful weather for November

We told the owner that the thermostatic valve on the downstairs bathroom was broken , it had been glued up badly before, he didnt seem bothered although it didnt affect our stay. Upside, it is very clean and well equiped beds are comfortable with offroad parking and in a great place to explore Tenby and this part of Pembrokeshire good for a family of 4 or two couples.

! Spare towels would be an advantage and possibly either a radio or small bedroom tv for lazy breakfast cuppas!! I also found the lack of any type of dressing table for toiletries/cosmetics/jewellery/hair products etc slightly frustrating but we did improvise! We did enjoy our stay and Tenby is still the pretty town it has always been

Great location as well, with a short walk into town and an even shorter walk to a local Pub just down the road. Plus we caught the weather just right, no rain all week, that was a bonus. We would definitely stop at the Gallery again if in the area. Thank you for a great stay.

  • "We had never been to Tenby and decided to have week there."

We loved it and the apartment was the perfect place to stay. Very roomy and tastefully appointed in a contemporary style the apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Maybe a grab bar in the downstairs bath /shower would be a safer option. The owner had also thoughtfully left some fresh milk and welsh cakes as a welcome pack. Add to that its location just a couple of minutes walk to the North Shore and maybe 5 minutes to the main centre made it ideal. Having a parking space at the apartment was also a big plus. We would definitely recommend Tenby and The Gallery as a 'must do' holiday or break.

  • "The Gallery is the perfect base to stay in Tenby."

The cleanliness and presentation of this holiday property is second to none. It had everything we needed (and much more) to have a comfortable enjoyable stay. Your view from the house is over a row of pastel coloured homes. It is worth noting that sea views would command a much, much higher price. We were so happy that we had chosen a property that had a car parking space and that was a quick walk to the delights of Tenby. I think that to have off street parking at a holiday property in Tenby is very desirable and pretty rare! Young, old or somewhere in the middle there are plenty of activities to entertain you. Boat trips (a walk away) Manor Zoo, and Heatherton Activity Centre a 10 minute car journey away. Lovely, clean beaches everywhere you can just lose yourself staring out to sea. Plenty of restaurants, chip shops, and a brilliant pizza place called Top Joes. If you like to cater for yourself, the Copper Hog Butchers will have plenty to tempt you. There is a Coop very nearby but perhaps best to get there at the start of the day as they can run out of milk at busy holiday periods. One of the best holidays we have ever had, Thank you.

The house has had a few improvements since last year which show the owner is committed to looking after his property. I would highly recommend this property to all my family, friends and colleagues if they were looking for somewhere to stay in Tenby. In addition the Sykes team have been great throughout our stays with them, they are always top of my list when looking for holiday rentals.

  • "The apartment was very clean and plenty of room to relax/socialise."

Facilities were all good, comfortable beds, luxurious baths/shower, well equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. A few minutes walk to the beach/town. In a cul-de-sac opposite houses so view from large windows was not picturesque but let in lots of light. Directions were not clear as St John's Hill nor Zion Gardens had street signs. Tenby has lots to offer; fantastic beaches, shops, restaurants, views and activities. Hi-lights include watching lifeboat launch and mussels and crab claws at Hope and Anchor pub.

  • "The GF and I returned from The Gallery having really enjoyed the property."

It is beautifully furnished, clean and for a self catering house is really well equipped with the size of the fridge and freezer and cupboard space being ample. On arrival, there was enough washing up liquid to last the week and a couple of dishwasher tablets. We used the kitchen quite a bit, whilst there were a lot of trays for baking and a good selection of saucepans/frying pans, there wasn't a casserole type dish. I would recommend thinking about your meals in advance and taking any equipment. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were linked by a walkway and we did have some concern that neighbours could see us walking from one to the other. Dressing gowns a must! Overall, we really enjoyed The Gallery albeit it was a little cold as we couldn't get the heating to work, but it is a lovely property and located really close to the centre of the town. One last word on how to find The Gallery. It is located on St John's Hill. Dependent on which way you come in to Tenby, you will see the Albany Hotel. As you drive down St Johns Hill, you will see two one way signs. The first one is opposite Rectory Court and the second one is opposite the entrance to Zion Gardens. When you enter Zion Gardens, after the second speed bump turn left and The Gallery is on the right.

  • "The Gallery is a beautiful apartment and we really enjoyed our stay there."

Overall it is very comfortable and we'd happily return in the future. Tenby is an excellent holiday location for families - lots to do in the two and in the surrounding area. The apartment was not quite as well-equipped as we would have expected, for example, there was only one large towel along with several small towels (for two adults, two children) there was no broom to keep the property clean, only the one bin bag (specialist to the area) and Internet connection is shared with the property below, so connection is weak. Really it needs an extension router.

TENBY

Pembroke 11 miles; Carmarthen 26 miles.

The bustling seaside resort of Tenby, known within Wales as “The Jewel in the Crown", is majestically positioned on the spectacularly beautiful 'Welsh Riviera'. Tenby is part of the stunning 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park where the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the county is one of the sunniest places in the UK. Enclosed by medieval walls, this beautiful town features a maze of cobbled streets, hosting an array of quirky shops, indoor locally-sourced food market, tea rooms and tempting restaurants. Almost three miles of stunning, Blue Flag-awarded beaches provide a variety of watersports, whilst walkers and cyclists can enjoy the local flora and fauna on the coastal paths, something the competitors of the world-renowned Tenby Iron-Man contest (held in mid-September) haven’t time for! A boat trip to Caldey Island is recommended to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the monastery and island scenery, and you can enjoy seal and puffin sightings en-route! Explore the magnificent Tudor Merchant's House, or visit the nearby resorts of Saundersfoot or Manobier. For teens and younger visitors, Oakwood Theme Park provides a brilliant, fun-filled day out whilst Folly Farm offers everything from old-fashioned fairground rides to animals both local and exotic!
