  • "Pant y FFynnon is a very nice two bedroom cottage situated in Trefin, just a few miles north of St David's and reasonably situated for those wishing to walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path."

The village has a good pub which serves a range of meals. The cottage is well appointed with comfortable beds, a good kitchen and a good wifi internet connection. It is warm and the settees are comfortable. I would certainly wish to stay there again. I suppose the only drawback was that the lavatory, washing area and excellent large shower is downstairs. This caused us no great difficulty.

  • "We had a fabulous stay."

Like a home from home. The cottage was cosy, well furnished and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and we did light the woodburner on one evening which was lovely. Cottage is in a very friendly village with easy access to stunning coastline. The local pub did great food and drink and the staff were lovely and welcoming. We walked the coastal path following routes given in the information pack and the OS maps were very useful when out in the car. One very small minor detail, I couldn't find a hairdryer but it wasn't a problem and I will take one next time as we are definitely going back next year. We relaxed, walked for miles, visited local places and beaches, saw lots of seals in remote coves, enjoyed local food and drink and had a great time. What more could you want from a holiday. Thank you.

Literally had everything you could need and all easy to use. What a beautiful area it is. Very well located for amazing coastal walks and runs. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Lovely stay, but there were issues that were not fixed locally whilst we were there that could have been."

The TV did not work (after several attempts & the help of a relative via WotsApp), it was still not resolved. The main oven did not work and there was an issue with the front door latch. It ok getting into the property, but we had to use the back door to get out. If these problems had all been fixed by the manager of the property, we would have given this a 5. Hopefully, these issues will be resolved before the next holiday makers arrive.

Beds were so comfy, though the bedding was too warm for the (unprecedented) hot weather! We loved all the games and books, a nice suprise for our little one. Kitchen was really well stocked. Thank you

  • "A lovely cosy cottage in a perfect location."

The cottage is very spacious with a large open plan living area but is also cosy with it's low beams, log burning stove & comfy sofas. The kitchen was very well equipped (much better than most holiday homes) & the whole cottage was immaculately clean. The children loved the room with bunk beds & the main bedroom is beautiful with high ceilings & a very comfy king size bed. There is a lot of really useful information about the area kept in the cottage, with some beautiful walks right on the doorstep. Lovely to be able to be on the coast path within a few minutes of leaving the cottage & the views are breathtaking. Our favourite walk was across the headland to Porth Gain & the Sloop Inn. The children loved crabbing in Solva Harbour & bodyboarding at Whitesands beach in St Davids.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cottage is well placed for access to the Coastal Path and even if the pub in the village doesn't look exciting, The Sloop in Porthgain and The Shed just a mile or so away friendly and buzzing."

The café in the village is pleasant enough and cooks a good full breakfast. The cottage is on the village road but very little passing traffic and there is a small outside area with table and chairs etc (the vegetation could do with a trim). Easy off road just 50 yards away, the cottage itself is cosy and well equipped and more spacious than we had anticipated. A couple of low beams are really not a problem and there is heaps of useful info left in the cottage as well as games, books etc. For our purposes, a comfortable base from which to explore the area, walking and cycling, it was perfect.

Not ideal for elderly people. Low ceilings downstairs & coming down the stairs. If over 5ft 5 ins tall, you need to remember.

Thank you for your comments. The shower room is downstairs as stated in the property description. As a character property there are two low beams, one over the stairs and one between the kitchen and dining area. The sitting room is also beamed but with sufficient room for 6 footers and the remaining rooms have high vaulted ceilings. Property Owner

  • "The description and photo did not truly reflect its situation."

Cottage on road and one of a row of houses looking onto other properties on the opposite side of road. Outside space was back of property but no privacy space, adjoined to next property and overlooked by parking area of other properties and other houses. Warning should have been given for low ceilings and stairs awkward for less able especially when toilet was downstairs. It was only after I had booked that information was given that there was no parking near the property but had to park in car park 3 properties up and not in view of house.

Thank you for your feedback. We do feel that the situation of the property is clearly depicted in the website images. The ground floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin and wc is also listed correctly. The car park is a couple of doors down from the property and this is also listed for viewers. Based on your feedback, you will see that a warning has now been added on the website, with regard to the low beam on the staircase. Thank you once again for your feedback. Property Owner
