  • "This property is a real treasure and perfect for a peaceful getaway with the whole family."

We ate drank and made merry in this lovely farmhouse( 8 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs). Plenty of parking at the front of the farmhouse and a wonderful mostly lashed garden to the rear that's perfect for dog, toddlers and adults to run around. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of room for everyone to gather. The running room was perfect for feasting and the lounge was cosy and a good space to relax after a day galvanting around Pembrokeshire. Beds were comfy, plenty of bathrooms to choose from and no issuwe with hot water, we all showered and bathed daily without issue. The location is perfect for exploring all corners of Pembrokeshire.... CK supermarket in st davids has everything you could possibl, also the butcher is absolutely amazing selling locally sourced meat, veg. Absolutely superb, we didn't want to leave

We are desperately hoping the property is available next year so we can visit again! We had a family of 10 stay and so much space for us all to enjoy the house and gardens! Wonderfully located for exploring locally, definitely recommend a trip to the blue lagoon too! Thanks for such a wonderful family holiday

  • "We had a wonderful time at Gwryd Bach."

The house is spacious and well equipped, there was everything we could have wanted. The bunk bedroom is probably only really suitable for children, but this house is ideal for family groups. The outside space was lovely too, enclosed garden so safe for children, with wonderful views. We walked in to St David's a couple of times which took us just over 30 mins. It is a 6 minute drive to the beautiful beach at Whitesands, and we also walked to the next beach which we had to ourselves. We would be really pleased to stay here again one day and would highly recommend the house.

The showers both worked well and there was plenty of hot water. We loved our unusual bedroom above the kitchen. The internet was very slow, but I used that as an excuse not to do any work!

  • "Excellent dog friendly holiday home."

Spacious, clean, a great enclosed garden and a very well equipped kitchen. Based in a great location with walks straight from the door, including White Sands beach and St David’s, this is a great place for a break in a fabulous part of Wales. Short drives take you to Solva, Newgale, and Abereiddy - all beautiful with great coastal path walks. The only improvements I’d suggest are supply more towels and a visitor book would be useful. Highly recommend this gorgeous farmhouse for a holiday,

The house was very clean and the 5 bedrooms gave our group plenty of choice! The location is quiet with lovely views & the garden is secure & spacious - perfect for lively children. Kitchen was well equipped and there was lots of space downstairs to relax. Only 1 upstairs bathroom but the shower room & 2 toilets downstairs worked well. We would happily book this property again.

Plenty of space for socialising together and nice to have the garden for the children and dogs to run about in. Only room for improvement would be to upgrade the Wi-Fi to a faster one and maybe a signal booster so it would cover more of the house. But everything else was perfect. Thank you

  • "We had a fantastic week staying at Gwryd Bach farmhouse."

The place was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a perfect stay. Good comfy beds, loads of room and even though we didn't light the fire, there was firewood and kindling left. The farmhouse really was exceptional!! Great location was exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline and with in easy reach of all that St Davids has to offer. We were sad to leave after week and would have loved to have stayed longer.

  • "The bathrooms were somewhat jaded in comparison to other Sykes properties we have used: black mold around the tiling of the shower base isn't terribly attractive."

And the lack of access to the heating system controls was a major detraction.

Really spacious. The garden and setting was perfect. So much space for the children tu run around. Only negatives for us waa the rather dark kitchen, some of the beds were not very comfortable, also we were unable to control the heating as the controls were out of reach. We would still recommend this cottage and go again. Very helpful and responsive owner. Really good value for money.

  • "Really enjoyed our stay here."

The farmhouse is very roomy and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen which was a pleasant change!. There were 6 adults and a ten week old baby on our visit and as the farmhouse sleeps 11 we had plenty of room. Great to have three toilets and two bathrooms. Key was left in back door for us so we never saw the owners but had not problems apart from not being able to find the cutlery but that was because the deep drawers have an upper compartment. Nice walks from the farm and we were able to confidently let the dogs in the garden as it was secure. There are plenty of places to visit, lovely walks, beaches which were very sandy once the tide was out. The only thing it would have been nice to have had was a welcome book with information about the area, shops etc. There is only one supermarket in St Davids which was very good. Also unable to adjust the heating, at times it was cold and other times too hot which with a small baby was a minor problem. Would definitely book this again in the future

  • "In general we were very pleased with the cottage."

However, on one day we came back from a rainy walk very cold and wet and would have appreciated being able to turn the heating on for a while. Unfortunately we could not access the controls as these were locked away. We did look in all the accessible rooms to no avail. This was all the more disappointing as the listing definitely says open fire and oil central heating. It would be helpful if the owner left a book explaining everything in the cottage. Otherwise lovely cottage, we all loved the kitchen which was perfect for cooking big family meals. The garden was secure and safe for our dogs who could be left to come and go outside with no worries. We slept well in the beds which were very comfy. The lounge was perfect for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine after a busy day. Perfect location for accessing the coastal path and many of Pembrokeshires attractions. Enjoyed a lovely family meal in nearby St Davids at the Bishops which we would recommend. All in all a fantastic week was had by the Field clan and their dogs.

  • "We found the property to be well equipped and comfortable, with accommodation matching the description."

We would suggest that some additional information could be provided by way of an introductory pack for visitors, to include such things as instruction manuals for cooker etc (found some eventually but some not applicable) and the wi-fi password. It could also include details of local attractions and especially, as a dog friendly farmhouse, the location of dog friendly beaches. We had to ring up to check on waste recycling, so that could go in too. Finally, a parasol would be good for the sunnier days. The secure garden was most welcome.

It was only active on a few of the evening's - the majority of the time the router had no DSL signal. The house also seemed to be well stocked with everything you would need, with the exception of teaspoons, desert spoons or a potato peeler.

  • "Great family farmhouse in wonderful location."

Well equipped and tradional feel of an old farmhouse. Just missing an information folder that would have helped with things like nearest shops or beaches etc and the fact that the hot water was on a timer so if you arrived back before 5pm the children couldn't have a bath or shower to around 6pm when the water had heated. Other then that lovely week and home from home comforts

The owners had decorated it for Christmas and didn’t hesitate to come out immediately on Boxing Day when the water leak alarm came on (no leak though luckily!). Such a cosy place to stay with some stunning beaches just minutes away, local town of St David’s a few minutes drive. House and location was perfect. 11 of us stayed with 2 dogs and there was plenty of space for us all. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We were not expecting such a spacious house and were surprised and delighted when we arrived to see the outside of the building, which is a large traditional stone farm house, which is not shown on the website. The house is very cosy and very easy to feel comfortable straight away. There is lots of space for the 6 children to run around and play hide and seek and loads of space outside for the boys to ride their bikes and fly kites. Perfect for two families. We enjoyed curling up by the log fire every evening after a day in the fresh air. We were delighted by the rural location which was still very close to local amenities. The closest beach is less than 5 mins drive and is stunning and the coastal walks are spectacular. This was the perfect place to contrast the London life.
