Local to the property are the beaches of Langland, Rotherslade and Caswell Bay, whilst slightly further away, but definitely worth a visit are Oxwich Bay Beach, Rhossili Bay and Whiteford Sands.

Resting to the south of Swansea and within striking distance of The Mumbles is this bustling suburban area, West Cross. Here, you will find a good range of amenities including shops, cafés, pubs and takeaways, as well as mid-sized wooded park, which is great for gentle strolls, or soaking up the sun with a picnic. From here, the city of Swansea is a short drive away, home to a scenic breachfront bay and a larger selection of shops and eateries to explore. A stone’s throw away in the other direction is the cosmopolitan Mumbles, which marks the beginning of the Gower Peninsula’s coastline. This quaint seaside village is famous for being one of Dylan Thomas’ many stamping grounds, as well as its medieval Oystermouth Castle, Victorian Pier and four famous Welsh-Italian ice cream parlours. Stay on the coastline and look forward to exploring the plethora of coves and beaches, including Langland Bay and Caswell Bay Beach. Further along to coast is Oxwich Bay Beach, which is a favourite spot amongst the locals with two miles of glorious sands to laze on and accompanied by a quaint village with a historic castle. The beaches of Rhossili Bay and Whiteford Sands are also necessary to see whilst visiting this part of South Wales.
