    The accommodation itself was perfect for our group, including the dog who had easy access to a grassed area at the rear of the property. The only niggles were that the accommodation could have been a little cleaner; the windows and glass tables hadn’t been cleaned adequately and some of the floors needed a thorough clean. This sounds rather picky but in light of the COVID situation, I think thorough cleaning is an absolute must.

    The location is ideal as it is walking distance both to the beach and the city centre. Restaurants and grocery shopping is available a short stroll away. Places worth visiting like Mumbles, Rhossili Beach, Three Cliffs Bay and Cardiff are less than 1 hour away.

The property

Stepping into the property, leave your coats and shoes in the hallway and climb the stairs up to the first floor where you will find a kitchen/diner, a dining room and a sitting room.

Providing all the appliances you need to whip up delicious feasts for the group, the kitchen is home to a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, and a good-sized fridge/freezer to assist you with your self-catering requirements.

Gather as a group to eat dinner and plan the next day of adventures; the kitchen offers dining for four guests, with further seating for six guests in the dining room which flows from the kitchen in a semi-open-plan layout, through the dining room and into the sitting room.

Snuggle up with your loved ones on the plush leather sofas to watch TV for the evening; the sitting room is also home to a balcony with a bistro dining set, perfect for escaping for your morning coffee, or even to spend a couple of hours indulging in a good book.

When the night rolls in, retire to the bedrooms to rest your head before another fun-filled day of exploring.

Climbing the stairs to the second floor, a super-king-size bedroom invites you to get some rest, also offering a zip/link feature so the room can be made up as a twin room for a flexible sleeping arrangement.

Pick up your essentials from one of the nearby shops; the city centre has a wealth of chain and local stores for you to choose from, the nearest from the house is the Co-op Food, and slightly further along you will find a Tesco Superstore for your larger trips.

A leisurely stroll from the house will take you to the Swansea Beach, if relaxation is your style, spend your days soaking up the sun and eating fish and chips and ice cream, before heading back to the house to rest before doing it all again the next day.
