  • "A comfortable and tidy cottage."

The shower space needed to be a size or two larger. Really only big enough for a child. A fan would have helped with the warm weather.

Can I suggest that Clover Cottage is listed on the entrance pier. Little Longhouse is written on one pier but no mention of Clover Cottage.

  • "A lovely compact, cosy and comfy cottage in the most quiet of locations ."

We received a very warm welcome from Lyn who is always available, being most helpful, even offering to get some shopping for us if we were not going out. Everything you need for your stay is supplied with the exception of a hairdryer. Most wonderful views all around the area when it’s sunny but we were unlucky, having rain every day! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful quiet stay in beautiful countryside.

The bathroom window would not shut properly which we reported to Sue, but that was a minor problem.

  • "Property was nice, in a good area."

I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again. The wifi and TV reception are excellent, which is good because there was very limited mobile reception in the area. My only small concerns were that there were no "comfy" chairs and nowhere to put your feet up. The pictures of the living room on the website are out of date, armchairs have been replaced by more stylish chairs but they have wooden arms and are not very comfortable. The curtains in the bedroom are far too thin, they let in too much light for a full night's sleep, I would suggest a blackout blind on the window. Personally there were too many "knick-knacks" and plants on what should have been usable surfaces (tables); it is a small cottage and needs to concentrate on function more than style.

Thank you for taking the time to write comments about your stay at Clover Cottage. It is always beneficial to get guests impressions of the cottage, whether good or bad. It allows us to make what we believe to be any constructive changes. We take onboard the fact of perhaps having footstools so guests can stretch out, but disagree about the comfort of the chairs. The large chair has just been re-covered. All the little touches and plants formed part of the updating of the cottage ,and it all comes down to personal taste. If you had mentioned this at the time, we would have gladly removed any objects that you felt got in your way. It was a little disappointing you did not mention our offer for you to stay longer, free of charge, due to the coming storm. We hope you had a safe journey home without too many delays, and are looking forward to attending more rugby matches in the future. Kind regards, Ann and Linn Property Owner

  • "My husband and I booked Clover Cottage because we were moving house and found ourselves in need of accommodation over the Christmas / New Year period."

Although it has taken me a while to get this review written, it in no way means the stay was lacking. I have just been dealing with a million boxes to unpack. The Cottage was lovely and became our home-from-home for a while. It was great because we had a washing machine and the cooker was a treat so we had everything we needed. The location was quiet and peaceful although you will need a car if you want anything from the shop. There are some lovely walks too, with Wiston Castle just a short walk away and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Lynn, Anne, and Anne's Husband (apologies for forgetting your name) were lovely and very helpful. Lynn really looked after us while we were there and I can't thank her enough for making us feel so welcome.

  • "Clover cottage is quite easy to find and owner rang to give directions too."

We arrived after a long journey and were greeted by Lynn who was a lovely lady who showed us round and gave us some information and said to go see her if any problems. The cottage is a good size and has everything you could need and was quite comfortable the owner had left us a welcome pack of eggs, butter, crossaints, jam, milk etc (apparently different each time) which was lovely and there was loo roll, soap shower gel and all manor of cleaning products so you don't need to take anything. The area is nice and we really liked Tenby We also tried 2 local pubs which were recommended in a folder that the owners have taken time to do which tells you places to go and distances. If we were to go to that part of Wales again we would try to book clover cottage .

The rural location was wonderful, peaceful and quiet. Perfect for exploring Pembrookshire. On arrival we found some delicious treats of chocolates, biscuits, bacon and eggs. which were a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The cottage has everything you need for your stay. Linn is so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond for us during our stay, even bringing us some strawberries and cream during the week! Ann and Mark are friendly and welcoming hosts, and we would highly recommend a stay at Clover Cottage. Thanks again Ann and Mark, Jamie and Lise.

Nice quiet area, but plenty of nice places to visit within 30 to 60 mins. Made to feel very welcome and would certainly recommend. Also touched by the thoughtful goods left, milk, bacon, eggs, tea, coffee and biscuits

  • "We had a lovely week at Clover cottage."

The cottage is well located near Haverfordwest and within easy reach of St. David’s and Tenby and all the beautiful coastal walks. We recommend Falcon boats for a brilliant trip around Ramsey Island. The cottage is small but ideal for a couple. Our only suggestions would be a sofa would be preferable to the two recliner chairs, and the cottage would benefit from blinds at the windows.

  • "This was a very small cottage which did not have much space in the bedroom, kitchen & Bathroom."

The window were quite dirty and some you could not see out of because of double glazing seals had gone. There were a lot extra items in the kitchen cupboards such as 20+ dinner plates but with other items missing to cook eggs etc such as pyrex dishes or saucers. We thought that having the bathroom/toilet off the kitchen/eating area not very hygienic. 2 of the 3 easy chairs could have been a bit more comfortable.

  • "Everything was fine."

no problems with the property. other than very minor issues i.e. double glazing condensing within outer and inner panels, no settee in living area - only single chairs. but non of this spoiled our stay, and we would come back again, if the price/ cost remained competitive.
