  • "The apartment is lovely but I did notice a lot of cobwebs in easy to see places which surprised me as generally it was very clean."

It’s great for people with limited mobility being ground floor with lots of room to manoeuvre wheelchairs and rollators. It’s really sad/annoying the information in the black folder is SO out of date, most of the stuff in there was pre Covid. People who don’t know the area rely on things like that in a holiday home.

Thank you for your review we will update the folder as mentioned. I hope you had a lovely stay. Lesley & Darren Owners Property Owner

  • "Loved the cottage, well presented and fully equipped."

The beds were comfortable and it was lovely and quiet. Perfect location! My only grumble is that we were visiting with another family and neither family could book the swimming pool during the whole week. We were put onto a waiting list and offered 1 space at 1pm (we were out for the day). The kids were very disappointed! I don’t think the pool should be offered as an option if you can’t use it

  • "Property was exactly as it was portrayed."

Everything was clean - I didn’t have to clean anything before I could use it. All the appliances worked and well. Yes the telly was a little confusing to use but we got it sorted enough to use in the evenings We had an issue with a cracked cafetière when we arrived and by the time we got back from supper it was replaced. Brilliant And by the way the Fox at Darsham was superb but do book

Thank you so much for your great feedback. Pleased to hear you had a great stay! Property Owner

  • "The property had a continual smell of air freshener and as we could not open the windows this spoilt what was a good sized location."

Also the community light outside of the main bedroom window made it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. You really do need to have the windows opened and install blinds or curtains to contain the light. We really enjoyed our visit to Southwold but unless these changes are made we will stay elsewhere.

  • "This property is a nice well equipped and comfortable base for a stay on the Suffolk coast,we have booked it several times over the last few years and are sorry to report that it is now looking rather ' tired ' and could do with a lick of paint and an overall freshen up,the pool area is also looking very shabby with dirty changing rooms and lots of black mould on the pool filters."

On our recent stay we were only given 2 small loo rolls for a seven day stay for 4 adults, rather mean spirited as it is not a cheap rental. We noticed a lot of properties were for sale on the complex and wondered why.

  • "Lovely property but quite isolated and a car necessary for every outing and unable to open the windows which made it very stuffy."

Property very well equipped and furnished. Beautiful views from the grounds. Very disappointing not to be able to use the pool but it is necessary to book and it was only available for 45 minutes during the whole week, in the middle of our last day. Perhaps it should not be sold with pool access or only when available. Would certainly return to this beautiful area but the location of this property is not for us.

  • "Will definitely be booking again asap!"

The apartment is beautiful, everything is perfect with a high attention to detail. 5minutes away for pub food which is absolutely gorgeous. We had quite a long journey but it was worth it when we opened the doors to the apartment. We had everything we needed! Like I say we will be booking again as soon as possible. Thanks for a great stay.

  • "We enjoyed 5 nights in this cosy, spacious and attractive apartment which is in a peaceful and quiet setting yet within easy reach of the coast."

The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch. We were a disappointed that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance during our stay as it looked well worth using.
