"The house was very spacious & the kitchen was very well equipped."
Our only complaint was that the beds are very firm. I slept in the loft room which had a mattress topper on. We even added another topper that we use for travel and it was still far too hard for a good nights sleep. On the plus side, we enjoyed using the pool & games room.

"As you are aware, we had problems with one of the bedroom blinds which could not be closed."
The property was full of very large cobwebs and on close inspection I felt that things in the top floor bathroom had been missed(around the basin plug hole and on the edge of the shower tray where the door runs) all easily cleaned with a toothbrush! I did not check the other bathrooms as these were being used by other family members. When we left we hoovered the lounge and the carpet looked better than when we had arrived. All small issues that did not spoil our stay (we loved the property) but the blind was a problem which should have been rectified. On a positive note, the property was ideal for our family, beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the pool etc were perfect. We would consider staying again if we could be reassured that things were fully checked before arrival.

"Lovely house in a beautiful setting."
House is comfortably furnished and has everything you could need for a weekend away with friends.

"We stayed at Blyth View for a multi-generational family weekend break and it was a perfect pick for us."
The house is very well-maintained and there is a great amount of space at the property which makes it great for time together, but also for when people want their own time. The beds and sofas were comfy and the kitchen was excellently stocked with everything you could need. The location is ideal for exploring Southwold, the coast, the broads etc. Easy onsite parking, beautiful grounds, and access to the games room and swimming pool (although not always able to book a slot at the latter) were also a real addition to this property. We would definitely return next time we are in the area.

"We very much enjoyed our family stay at Ploughman's Green."
The house was very well maintained and also comfie. The communal space outside the property was a good area for running off energy. The pool was a big hit once we'd figured out the booking system. Parking right by the property. Quiet. Friendly neighbours. Easy drive into Blythburgh, Walberswick and Southwold and other Suffolk places of interest.

"Very well appointed charming and stylish property."
Our second visit with 3 generations. Enjoyed by all.

"We did have a lovely stay and we enjoyed the house and the facilities."
However we were very concerned that we could not open the windows and this was not sorted in our stay. So the property was hot but also if there was a fire we would have had no way of escaping so it was extremely dangerous not to fix the problem.

"Wow, what a fabulous property."
Large, bright and spacious, with all rooms being beautifully furnished. Kitchen was well equipped. The games room and swimming pool booking process was simple and facilities were clean. It would have been great to know what the boundaries of the grounds were and any local footpaths. Wifi was a little patchy, although we were there to disconnect from work so not an issue. Thoroughly recommended and we are already making plans to return.

"We had a wonderful break in this roomy and well equipped home."
Arrived on a cold and wet day to find it warm and welcoming. Everything clean and ready to go. Our thanks to the housekeepers for their efforts. A few small maintenance issues reported to them. If we were a large party I might be complaining about the shortage of clothes hanging facilities and a chest of drawers on the middle floor. The rear car park for this property needs a bit of lighting. Our 4th visit to the Blyth View development, and we always enjoy this a peaceful, but convenient location. Recommend the cafe at Old Hall marsh & walks for a nearby lunch.

"We had awonderful week at Ploughman's Green."
The house was warm which is always a bonus in late October, and the house is very comfortable. We did find that the pool was rather cold on some days which forced us to curtail our swims, and other users also expressed the same sentiment. We were surprised to find that we were still required to strip the beds and put towels into a bag. Now that the Covid pandemic appears to be less severe I would expect this to be a thing of the past.
