  • "Superbly equipped."

Hairdryer, tea towels, dish washer tablets, coffee pods, wine, a cake, eggs, bread, milk, jam, literally everything is thought of. House was spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished. Lots of useful information about the local area peovided. The swimming pool, gym and games room is a great added bonus. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again.

  • "Gorgeous location, top bedroom lacked any hanging space so lived out of the suitcase and no towel rail unfortunately - the sofa had multiple stains on it."

Whilst the rest of the property was beautifully decorated, we felt the late checkin of 4pm on the Friday and early checkout of 10am on the Sunday actually only gave you 1 day to enjoy the property.

  • "We were very pleased when we arrived, to find the property was well up to expectations."

Plenty of space, nicely ordered and clean. Kitchen facilities excellent and plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware. Only one small reservation however, and why we rated Facilities and Maintenance just OK rather than very good. The middle sash window in the main bedroom was stuck open and nothing that any of our party could do would free it. If the weather had been cold, this would have been a major inconvenience. Perhaps this could be addressed before any more guests arrive?

  • "Our third time at Thymblethorpe and it won’t be the last!"

Always seem to have issues with the TV however - a simplified set up or helpful instructions would be useful. Good excuse to have a break from the TV however!

  • "We have stayed at Thymblethorpe many times as it ticks all of our boxes."

It is obvious that a lot of interior design input went into its restoration. Winter stays are good because it is always warm, unlike so many drafty cottages. Blythview is such an attractive estate, good for dog walking and a swim. We hope to be back soon.

  • "The property was amazing it had everything you could want and an enclosed garden for our dog, The location was perfect as it was within driving distance of the beautiful Suffolk towns and villages."

It was set within an acres of land so it was perfect for an afternoon stroll, we didn't use the pool or games room located on site but they looked great. We will be defiantly coming back to this property as it was just perfect. Thank you to the Best of Suffolk team for the recommendation.
